Hair Transplant
In May 2013 I had undergone a hair transplant at the Hairline Clinic in Ankara, Turkey. Seeing some of the results of other patients encouraged me to choose this clinic since Dr. Özgür, the head of the clinic, is a very friendly doctor and inspires a lot of confidence as I was initially looking for an improvement of my hair situation. The whole treatment took me about 3 days for a total of 3500 grafts being harvested and relocated via FUE from the donor area of my head to the receding hairline and the mid-scalp area. Before making my choice I generally informed myself about methods and working issues for hair transplant. As a matter of fact one of my biggest concerns was about manual work by the hands of the hair surgeon himself since a lot of clinics share parts of the whole procedure with their medical team. This is why any extraction process had to be done without the use of motorized punches as much as the physician himself had to harvest every follicular unit personally. Especially in Turkey, where lots of clinics perform hair transplant by the use of motorized FUE-extractors and important parts of the restoration process are executed by medical assistants, it was most important for me to focus my attention on good results as well as on numerous reports of other patients.A number of outstanding results and personal reports finally convinced me to choose the Hairline Clinic for a hair transplant. The HLC is in my view qualified to perform hair transplants with natural and satisfying outcomes. Aesthetically pleasing results make the personal artistry and skills of Dr. Özgür evident. Any step during my procedure at the clinic was done by the physicians personally. There is no use of motorized punches during the whole process achieving a better growing yield.
