BDSC (Wits)

Alan qualified in 1992 earning his degree from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a principal of Garston Lodge Dental Practice and has worked in the practice since September 1999.

Alan enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially cosmetic dentistry. Alan says, “By changing someone’s appearance you can change their lives! It is so rewarding to see someone who was so self-conscious before treatment to now have the confidence and pride in their smile.”

Alan also takes care with extremely nervous and dentally phobic patients.

BDS

Gavin graduated from Newcastle University in 2006 with a clinical distinction and has been working as an associate dentist at Garston Lodge Dental Practice since 2007. He provides both NHS and private dentistry with keen interests in composite (white) fillings, cosmetic dentistry (including tooth whitening) and crown and bridgework. Gavin is also attending a course to place dental implants and is very good with nervous patients.

Hilton qualified in 1988 at Witwatersrand University in South Africa. He began working at Garston Lodge Dental Practice in 1995 and is now one of the principals along with Tania and Alan.

Hilton enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with special interests in crowns and bridges, dentures and cosmetic dentistry.

Tania qualified in 1998 from the University of Dundee. She joined Garston Lodge Dental Practice in 1999 as an associate. In 2001 Tania and her two partners became practice principals.

Tania enjoys all aspects of dentistry but particularly enjoys cosmetic and restorative dentistry, prosthetics and paediatric dentistry.

BDS

Pamela qualified in 1999 from Manipal University, India. She has been an associate at the practice since 2006. Pamela enjoys all aspects of NHS and private dentistry, with keen interests in cosmetic fillings and dealing with nervous children.
