Shinfield Dental Centre

 I qualified from Kings College Dental School, London in 1995. Here I achieved my Batchelor of Dental Surgery. I am committed to further education and in 1997 I completed a further Diploma in General Dental Practice. I regularly attend post graduate courses keeping up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry, and have a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry.

I qualified as a Dental Surgeon at the University of Dundee, Scotland in 1989. My first post as an associate was in a specialist NHS General Anesthetic/Sedation Practice where I gained a vast experience in dealing with and treating the nervous and anxious patients under the guidance of Dr Ian Hunter who was then the president of SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry). My next post as an associate was in a large multi-surgery NHS dental practice in the Ealing PCT area. This practice is located in the heart of a large multicultural community. This has enabled me to gain experience and work with and treat patients from different cultures and all walks of life. I have been practicing at this NHS dental practice as a full time senior associate since 1991. In that time I have gained an enormous amount of experience in working for the NHS and within the guidelines of the NHS dental services, establishing and maintaining clinical governance protocols and quality assurance processes in compliance with NHS guidelines and current legislation.

I joined Wentworth Avenue Dental Centre; Slough in 2001 as a trainee dental receptionist with the aim of becoming a dental nurse. During my training as a dental nurse I always had a keen interest in the management aspects of running a successful dental surgery. In 2006 I qualified as a dental nurse and shortly after Dr Jaswinder Gill purchased the surgery and rebranded it as Moonlight Dental Surgery. I began to have more involvement in the management of the practice and after a short while I was promoted to practice manager. In Oct 2008 I was given the additional role as practice manager of Moonlight Dental Surgery in Poole and in May 2009 I also became practice manager of Shinfield Dental Centre. Given that my time is spread between the three practices I couldnt do it without the help of our fantastic teams in each practice. My main passions within my role are striving to ensure we meet & exceed our patients’ expectations as well as remaining up to date with current guidelines & legislation, as I feel these are the two most important priorities within a dental practice.
