Colm Smith is the principal of Dr. Colm Smith & Associates.  The practice was established 25 years ago.  It has grown from a single handed practice to a multidisciplinary practice compromising of six full time dentists, one part time dentist, a consultant orthodontist, specialist oral surgeon, experienced hygienist, qualified dental nurses and support clerical staff.

Colm has wide experience in dentistry having gained post graduate training in Bristol University in Orthodontics, Oral Surgery and tooth wear. 

In addition, he received training in Orthodontics from Mr. Keith Isaacson consultant orthodontist.

Mr Bell has worked in Bristol Dental Hospital since 1993 and has recently been appointed as Specialty Lead for Oral Surgery.  He is on the Specialist Register for Oral Surgery in both Ireland and the UK. 

Chris has been a major player in the BOULD postgraduate training programme and has lectured on the Bristol M.Sc Implant course. He has been involved in many research projects in the hospital and has contributed to many literature reviews. He is held in extremely high regard by general practitioners as one of the best lecturers in his field, and his courses are always fully booked up.

Isaacson FDS, MOrth RCS Eng.Consultant Orthodontist. 

Mr Isaacson is a Senior Consultant Orthodontist with many years experience in providing treatment plans, which enable Dental practitioners to treat many of their patients in their own surgery.

For over thirty years he has been a Consultant at a major hospital in the south of England and is also visiting Consultant to Jersey, in the Channel Islands.

BDS, MFDS RCPS 

Chris graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2004. He spent two years completing a General Professional Training (GPT) scheme, and obtained his MFDS qualification. In 2006, Chris moved back to Ireland when he joined Colm Smith Dental Practice.

B.Dent Sc. (U.Dubl)

Aoife graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1999.  She worked in a private practice in London and returned home to Ireland and joined the practice in 2001. 

Aoife has a special interest in orthodontics and works along side Mr. Keith Isaacson, Consultant Orthodontist. 

B.Dent Sc. (U.Dubl) 

Fionn graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1995. He worked in London for five years and returned home to Ireland and was partner in a private practice.

He joined the practice in 2001 and has developed a great interest in Gerodontics, especially in dentures and minimally invasive dentistry.

He has recently developed the mini-implant system for loose lower dentures and for palate free upper dentures.
