Curettage per quadrant (open and closed). A treatment used for certain types of periodontal diseases. It is also called under the gum cleaning. Partial denture with metal plate. These dentures take up more place in your mouth than your natural teeth because they cover some parts of the oral membrane as well. It is usually made from the combination of plastic and metal. Parts of these dentures are the metal frame, the plastic base and teeth and the metal clasp.

Zircon crown. This crown burnt on zircon-dioxide frame is for those patients, who put aesthetic and perfect appearance in the first place. Zircon-dioxide is even harder than metal fused porcelain crowns and is very similar to the colour of the natural teeth, providing the same translucency. Because of this it is perfect for incisors. By using these crowns we can avoid a typical problem that is often related to metal fused porcelain crowns: after 5-10 years the gum withdraws and a dark edge appears between the gum and the crown thus the metal made frame becomes visible. Zircon crowns perfectly fit to the gum and are made by using the latest technological 3D CAD-CAM method (planned and made by computer) so the dentist can achieve micrometer accuracy. First an impression is taken of the prepared teeth, then the impression is being digitalized and graphically visualized on a computer. By doing so, the structure, the size and the form of the crown can be planned on the computer. The next step is that this digital picture is transferred to an other computer which is connected to a special carving machine (burr-drill). Based on this digital picture the burr-drill carves out the frame of the crown from the zircon block with micrometer accuracy. Finally, the porcelain cover is made in the colour shade picked by the patient. The only disadvantage that zircon crowns have is that they are more expensive due to their exclusive quality.
