Nobel biocare Implant Abutment

What is an abutment? We place the implant into the bone and once it is inserted it is completely invisible just like the root of a natural tooth. It is hollow from inside and the abutment is screwed into it after the healing time. It is the abutment part that is visible and it exceeds the gum line. The abutment is not the crown. It looks like a filed down natural tooth that is prepared to get a crown. It can be made from titanium or metal-free zircon. Choosing which material to use depends on the position of the tooth that needs to be replaced. For aesthetical reasons it is suggested to use zirconium in the front and titanium at the back. In terms of loading, it is the same on both. But aesthetically there is a difference. There are two types of abutments: the first ones are the original ones. They are fixed to the implant with a special glue and they are fixed to it for good. The other ones are fixed with screws and therefore any future replacements can be easily performed on these. So if such correction is required it can be done quickly and pain-free.

Implant Nobel Biocare

Why choose Nobel Biocare? Dentists like working with these implants because basically they have zero negative feedback. Nobel Biocare implants function just like natural tooth roots. Even its bonding to the jaw is similar to natural tooth roots thanks to its shape and material. This gives the feeling for patients that they have just got their natural healthy teeth back. Nobel Biocare implants feel just like real teeth. Nobel’s latest development is CC (Conical Connection) which is a very strong bond between the implant and the abutment. With this technology food pieces cannot stuck between the implant and the abutment. Thus, we can reduce the risks of bacterial infections to almost zero. And you can feel free to choose the prosthesis you wish in any kind of shape and colour. Nobel Biocare Procera system comes in the picture because it provides digitally planned and made porcelain Procera crowns

Implant Nobel Alpha Bio

Why is it wise to choose Alpha Bio Implant system? Alpha Bio has been manufacturing and distributing dental implants for two decades and in 2008 Nobel Biocare took over the company. The biggest advantage of Alpha Bio Implants when compared to other types of implants is the high level of stability which was reached by developing the Nano Tech surface. During research, great emphasis was put on the course of osseointegration. When bonding is optimal between the implant and the bone is the time when it behaves just like a natural tooth root and can be charged the same way a natural tooth would. The osseointegration is speeded-up by the Nano Tech surface, therefore Alpa Bio implants are much more stable and able to fuse to the jaw in much shorter period of time. The most popular Alpha Bio implant is the SPI spiral implant which meets every expectation. SPI implants have many clinical advantages. First of all, it makes implanting possible for patients who otherwise could not have qualified for implantation before. One of its biggest advantages is that it can be used even with minimal bone quantity since it has very high level of stability and bone condensing properties. Secondly, another great advantage is that the implant requires much smaller bone removal (osteotomy) and therefore reduces the risk of damaging neighboring teeth. When using SPI implants we can change the direction of the insertion during the surgery, so that the dentist can constantly control the direction of the implant while comparing to the other implants and the root to get the perfect result. And the result will be a never seen before beautiful dental arch!

Open curettage periodontal surgery (per quadrant)

Curettage per quadrant (open and closed). A treatment used for certain types of periodontal diseases. It is also called under the gum cleaning. Unlike scaling and polishing during curettage we remove the plaque, the inflamed tissues and the infected cementum. Therefore the bacteria growing in the periodontal pockets die, too. The curettage can be open or closed. By open curettage we make small incisions on the gum to be able to get to the pockets. We close the wound with stitches that need to be removed after a week.

Resection (front)

It is a surgical dental treatment. The goal is to keep the tooth. Usually resection is the dentist’s last solution in his attempt to keep the tooth. The aim is to remove the inflamed tissues at the end of the root. The treatment is done under local anesthesia during which a small “window-like” cut is made on your jaw to get to the problematic areas. When the diseased tissue has been removed the dentist uses a filling that seals well.

Sinus lift including 1 unit bone substitution

Bone substitution is a term that is used to describe the procedure to “build” bone so that dental implants can be placed. These procedures typically involve grafting (adding) bone or bonelike materials to the jaw, and waiting for the grafted material to fuse with the existing bone over several months. After the bone-substitution procedure we usually wait for up to 6 – 8 months before placing the implants, except for certain cases when bone substitution and placing dental implants are possible at the same time.
from 91812 Ft

Bone substitution per tooth

Bone substitution before implantation. Not everybody has a sinus that is thick enough to have an implant inserted in it and then to have it stay put. In such cases we can use dental bone substitution or sinus lift. To be able to perform implantation we need a stabile base. If there is no such base, no matter what technique we use, which implant we put in- the success will not be guaranteed. Our aim is to give you tooth replacement that you can use and enjoy for the next 50-60 years. If you do not have the suitable amount of bone regarding to your sinus we suggest bone substitution or for the upper jaw: sinus lift. Sinus lift is an amazing preparational treatment for you to get the stabile base we need and it is absolutely safe for you! What does sinus lift mean? Sinus lifting means that we safely elevate the inner sinus floor. Into the created cavity we put bone substitution material: the mixture of bio material and your own bone tissues. The treatment is as painless as possible and absolutely safe! After bonding, the bone substitution material is as hard as the natural bone and serves as a perfect basis for implantation so we are be able to insert the implant into. What is the result of bone substitution? -suitable amount of space to be able to hold the implant- sufficient strength for carrying the implant for decades- during implantation your sinus will not be damaged at all- the implant that we insert will be fixed because it is put in a solid basis. Sinus lift is also an option when you need more than just one implant. People who live in the temperate zone usually have thinner sinus bone. Therefore sinus lift is a pretty common procedure to perform a successful, long-lasting implantation

Lateral bone augmentation

The procedure is done through your jaw where the doctor makes an incision in the gums. Then the doctor decrypts the gum tissue, thus revealing the bony lateral wall of the maxillary sinus. Then, a so-called sinus bone window cut of which the other side is covered with a thin membrane. This shifts the membrane into the newly formed cavity bone substitute material.

Bone trap

The essence of a bone trap is that tiny pieces of bone tissue are collected during dental implantation with a special equipment. Later, it is either implanted instead of bone graft material or mixed with it.

Extraction

This is performed on a tooth that can be seen in the mouth. General dentists often do simple extractions. During simple extraction, the dentist loosens the tooth with an instrument called an elevator. Then an instrument called forceps is used to remove the tooth.
from 54903 Ft

Extraction (complex)

This is a more complex procedure, which is used when a tooth may have broken off at the gum line or has not erupted in the mouth. Oral maxillofacial surgeons typically perform this procedure, though general dentists can also perform them. The doctor makes a small incision (cut) on your gum to surgically remove the broken tooth or impacted wisdom tooth. It may be necessary to remove some of the bone around the tooth or cut the tooth in half in order to extract it.

Most simple extractions can be done by giving an injection ( local anesthetic); you may or may not receive drugs to help you relax. For a surgical extraction, you will receive a local anesthetic and you may also have anesthesia intravenously. Some people — such as patients with specific medical or behavioural conditions and young children — may need general anesthesia.

If you are receiving conscious sedation, you may be given steroids, as well as other medicines in your intravenous sedation line. The steroids help to reduce pain and swelling after the procedure.

During tooth extraction, you may experience pressure, but no pain. If you feel any pain or pinching, tell your dentist.

from 101039 Ft

Extraction of wisdom tooth

If the wisdom tooth is damaged to an extent due its inflammation or death, the feasibility of root canal treatment is uncertain because of its branched root canal system – so in this case the doctor will often opt for extraction.

All-on-4 removable solution per jaw

Full prosthesis on toothless jaw with dental implant. For most of us the best solution for replacing lost tooth is an implant. It is even more true for patients who are completely toothless. But most of the time these patients do not take the procedure that involves bone replacement and implanting. Due to bone loss and decay it is an unpleasant and expensive process which often takes a long time. It is even more common among the elderly population. The All-on-4 has been made just for them! For those who have been told that they do not have enough bone to do implanting or for those who have medical condition that makes implanting impossible. What does this mean exactly?Only 4 pieces of implants are needed. With a special method we affix a dental bridge onto 4 implants only which is then placed into the jaw. And by doing so you can get your confidence back. In almost all cases, the temporary fixed bridge is put at the lower jaw, on the freshly inserted implants so you can throw away your old prosthesis immediately. The upper jaw can be charged at 80 per cent of the cases right away.Benefits of All-on-4:First of all, it makes the rehabilitation of the completely toothless jaw possible with 12 fixed teeth and with only 4 implants. Secondly, it is even more budget-friendly without bone replacement. Thirdly, the instantly chargeable implants with fixed bridge prevent the further wasting of the jaw, resulting in a healthy, aesthetic smile with your confidence back. The procedure has a 99 per cent success rate and comes with a 10- year guarantee. What is more, it can be used with diseases where bone replacement is excluded. You can have fixed teeth within just one day and you can throw away your hated prosthesis. It can be provided fast and at a much better price. In almost 100% of the cases there is no need to make bone replacement at the lower jaw with the combination of NobelGuide. It can be done without surgery within 30 minutes. Partial cast upper and lower

Partial denture with metal plate. These dentures take up more place in your mouth than your natural teeth because they cover some parts of the oral membrane as well. It is usually made from the combination of plastic and metal. Parts of these dentures are the metal frame, the plastic base and teeth and the metal clasp.

Precision attachment

Clasps and telescopes. The dentures fixed with clasps and telescopes are excellent solutions for patients who cannot qualify for other options of prosthesis. Removable or combined dentures are necessary when many of your teeth are lost or you do not qualify for other tooth replacements such as implants. With partial or combined dentures the clasps ensure the fitting. Basically this little clasp is responsible for keeping the denture in place. These dentures are great options for you if you have some remaining teeth left where the denture can be attached to.

Clip bar system (hidden anchorage)

Combined dentures and clip bar system. When you have missing teeth the most important decision we have to make is find the best solution to the problem. To decide which one is the best for you. When there are not enough teeth in you mouth or implantation is not an option for you (financial considerations or loss of bone) you can choose removable or combined dentures to fix your dental problem. Combined dentures are a step-up when compared to removable dentures. They have three parts: the fixed part, the removable part and the clip. First, they file down your teeth and start making the fixed parts (crowns, telescopic crowns and bridges). When they are finished, a second impression is taken of your teeth and they start preparing the removable parts. At the final probe the dentist always checks the accuracy and fitting of your new dentures. Fixed part means the crowns made for your remaining teeth. The fixed part is basically a removable denture made out of metal or plastic and is attached to the fixed part so it is kept in place. The clip point is where the fixed part and the removable part are connected. The connection can be made with different clasps and clips and the later ones are obviously much better aesthetically.

CAD/CAM inlay (3 years guarantee)

CAD / CAM ceramic inlays. These are one of the prettiest options for fillings especially when the sides of the teeth need to be treated. If aesthetic result is your priority then ceramic inlay is the best solution for you. The demand for aesthetic, natural tooth-looking fillings is getting bigger and bigger these days. This demand can be absolutely fulfilled by using porcelain for this purpose. It is translucent and its colour perfectly fits to natural teeth. Your inlays are made in our in-house lab with digital 3D CAD/CAM technology. Your inlays are digitally planned and carved by computers with 25 micrometer accuracy. Porcelain is the proper material when we have to keep aesthetic and natural look in mind. It is also used when we have to rebuild the surface of your teeth and need to fix the gaps in between them. These inlays are not cemented on your teeth but bonded with a time consuming technology but by doing so you can have a perfect fit between your teeth and the inlay. In order to enjoy your inlays you must follow your dentist’s instructions on good oral hygiene.

Crown/bridge (3 years guarantee), porcelain fused to metal, per tooth

Porcelain fused to metal crown. This is the most commonly used tooth replacement method thanks to its reasonable price/value ratio and durability. This type of crown is composed of a metal frame and ceramic coat which has the same colour as your natural teeth. By using the impression the technicians prepare the metal frame and then the right colour of ceramic is burnt on it. The advantage of the porcelain fused to metal crown is that it is durable, well-fitting, precise, long-lasting and because of the porcelain cover they perfectly fit to the colour of the natural teeth

Crown/bridge (3 years guarantee), porcelain fused to gold, per tooth (gold not included)

Porcelain fused to gold crown. This firm, resistant and long life crown is one type of the porcelain fused to metal crowns. In this case the metal that is the frame of the crown is not porcelain but gold. Its main advantages: 1. The gold crown minimizes the chance of developing dental caries because the gold frame is built on the patient’s plaster impression with a special galvanization method, as a result it perfectly fits to the tooth so that the food pieces cannot get stuck between the teeth causing caries. 2. Gold is biocompatible so allergic reactions or symptoms related to metal sensitivity do not occur. 3. The colour of gold is similar to the colour of the dentine (the layer under the enamel). The technician builds up the porcelain cover on the gold frame the same way as the enamel covers the dentine, thus it has a completely natural effect. 4. The gold frame is very thin so by using this metal there is minimal wear due to grinding if compared to other metals.
from 137949 Ft

Crown/bridge (3 years guarantee), CAD/CAM (per tooth)

Zircon crown. This crown burnt on zircon-dioxide frame is for those patients, who put aesthetic and perfect appearance in the first place. Zircon-dioxide is even harder than metal fused porcelain crowns and is very similar to the colour of the natural teeth, providing the same translucency. Because of this it is perfect for incisors. By using these crowns we can avoid a typical problem that is often related to metal fused porcelain crowns: after 5-10 years the gum withdraws and a dark edge appears between the gum and the crown thus the metal made frame becomes visible. Zircon crowns perfectly fit to the gum and are made by using the latest technological 3D CAD-CAM method (planned and made by computer) so the dentist can achieve micrometer accuracy. First an impression is taken of the prepared teeth, then the impression is being digitalized and graphically visualized on a computer. By doing so, the structure, the size and the form of the crown can be planned on the computer. The next step is that this digital picture is transferred to an other computer which is connected to a special carving machine (burr-drill). Based on this digital picture the burr-drill carves out the frame of the crown from the zircon block with micrometer accuracy. Finally, the porcelain cover is made in the colour shade picked by the patient. The only disadvantage that zircon crowns have is that they are more expensive due to their exclusive quality. Our clinic has a fully equipped state of the art digital dental laboratory so we can prepare prosthesis in high quality on the spot and without delay.

Primary and secunder telescopic crowns (3 years guarantee)

The essence of partial prosthesis with telescopic crowns is the following: with the help of one or two natural teeth or implants the dentist prepares primary and secondary crowns. First, we put the primary crown on your natural teeth or onto your implants. Then, they place a secondary crown on these. These secondary crowns are built into your denture so they do not only fit much better but stay in place much better. You can have telescopic dentures in your mouth for 24 hours without using denture adhesive creams.

Before being able to wear permanent tooth replacement you probably have to go with a temporary one first. These replacements are made for treatments with longer healing time. They are usually made of plastic but very often reinforced with metal as well. The dental technician prepares these for you by using an impression of your teeth as a guide. They have perfect appearance and function during the wearing time and also protect the filed down teeth.

Panoramic x-ray

The importance of digital panoramic x-ray in precise diagnosis: Digital panoramic x-ray is able to show accurate picture of the lower and upper jaw fast and accurately. The panoramic x-ray helps physicians in every field of dentistry: especially in implanting, diagnosing and treating periodontics diseases, oral surgery, orthodontics and root canal treatments. By using panoramic x-ray we can make the diagnosis easier and quicker. The panoramic x-ray is a must have in a state- of- the- art dental clinic nowadays. Not only when we perform complex treatments but also when we are trying to figure out where the problem is. These x-rays cannot be replaced by small x-rays showing only one or two teeth. Preparing x-rays happens in a separate room. The image is then transferred to the computer of your dentist’s office, so it is absolutely easy to have a look at it together with your dentist who is able to explain to you everything so you have a much better understanding of what will happen next. You will get the image on CD and it will be your property. Panoramic x-rays are important even when dealing with not so complex treatments. Panoramic x-rays are also commonly used in general dentistry due to their several advantages. It is often more difficult to find the root of the problem with other diagnostic methods. Panoramic x-rays enhance faster diagnosis. In addition, they are able to show hidden diseases such as caries. Problems with older fillings can be visible right away, too. Panoramic x-rays are also a great help when we estimate the condition of bone and gum atrophy. The x-ray makes these clearly visible and in many cases the reasons for parodontics and the inflammations in the sinus as well. In the planning stage of an orthodontic treatment panoramic x-rays are also necessary. In these cases we need to make a so-called full panoramic x-ray which is naturally also available at C-vitamin Clinic. X-ray has utmost importance when treating wisdom teeth.

Dental x-ray

Digital x-ray or intraoral x-ray . We use this type of x-ray when we would like to get a picture of the condition of one or two teeth. Within a very short time the picture appears on the screen taken by the machine. You can also have a look at it together with your dentist. However, this photo is not the same as the one taken by a panoramic x-ray machine. In many cases this is an advantage but the two types of x-rays cannot be substituted with each other. The images can be zoomed, rotated, the contrast is adjustable and have several additional advantages when compared to old type of x-rays. In diagnosing making these images fast is an important factor and it is a great addition to panoramic x-rays. In our clinic all of our dental offices are equipped with an intraoral x-ray machine so you can comfortably sit in the dentist chair while the photo is taken without requiring you to leave the office and be escorted to a different room. Since the machine does not have any strayed beam, it can be safely used during the treatments at any time. The intraoral x-ray makes the continuous control possible during the treatment. But sometimes it is inevitable to make a 3D panoramic x-ray or a CT scan for proper diagnosis since intraoral x-rays show only one or two teeth.

Tooth-coloured filling (small)

Filling is a very common dental treatment. Aesthetic dentistry therefore must follow the latest technological solutions. Nowadays it is possible to provide aesthetic fillings that can imitate the colour and shape of natural teeth. In many cases dental filling is necessary. Recently caries has been an “epidemic” due to our eating habits and changes in our immune system. Obviously, we have to stop this growing tendency because it is not only very unpleasant for patients but may have serious consequences as well. The basis of composite filling (a soft filling material) is polyamid mixed with pieces of glass and porcelain. It activates to blue light exposure. After reconstruction, the surface and the colour of the reconstructed tooth is completely compound to the old tooth. It is as hard as the natural enamel so you can chew with a filled tooth, the way you would do with a natural, healthy one. Longevity of the composite filling is guaranteed by the chemical bound between your tooth tissue and the filling material.

Zoom-in chair teeth whitening

Would you like to get back your white teeth? Or do you dream about having a celebrity smile? Bad breath and yellow, discoloured teeth take away our confidence. There can be many reasons for discolouration. Regular tea, coffee and coke consumption, certain foods and smoking are all responsible for yellow teeth. Sometimes an illness can have an effect on the colour of your teeth: plaque, injury, bad nerve function. The result of tooth whitening depends on the state of your teeth, your lifestyle and the length of the whitening process. We use a high intensity, cold blue light LED lamp with 0% UV rays that does not heat up your teeth. For the best results we suggest scaling and dental air polishing. In case you have cavity on your front teeth we do not recommend tooth whitening. It can make your problem worse.

Non-vital bleaching per tooth

Tooth discolouration varies in etiology, appearance, localization, severity, and adhesion to tooth structure. It can be defined as being extrinsic or intrinsic on the basis of localization and etiology. In this review of literature, various causes of tooth discolouration, different bleaching materials, and their applications to endodontically treated teeth have been described. In the walking bleach technique the root filling should be completed first, and a cervical seal must be established. The bleaching agent should be changed every 3-7 days. The thermocatalytic technique involves placement of a bleaching agent in the pulp chamber followed by heat application. At the end of each visit the bleaching agent is left in the tooth so that it can function as a walking bleach until the next visit. External bleaching of endodontically treated teeth with an in-office technique requires a high concentration gel. It might complement the walking bleach technique, if the results are not satisfactory after 3-4 visits. These treatments require a bonded temporary filling or a bonded resin composite to seal the access cavity. There is deficiency in the literature of evidence-based science that addresses the prognosis of bleached nonvital teeth. Therefore, it is important to be aware of the possible complications and risks that are associated with the different bleaching techniques.

Root canal treatment (per canal)

This treatment is needed if the tooth is so decayed or dead that the root canal cannot be saved. The reason for dead root canal is usually untreated cavity or physical impact. During root canal treatment we open the root canal and fill it with special filling material preventing the overgrowth of bacteria. With back teeth usually onlay or crown is needed in order to keep the chewing function. First, we start the root canal treatment with an x-ray to make sure the treatment is necessary. Second, in local anesthesia we open the root canal and measure its length using an electronic length-measuring device. After removing the residues of the tooth pulp we fill up the root canal with medication. A week later you get a filling and sealing to your root canal treated tooth. The price of the root canal treatment includes the costs of the sealing as well.

Conscious sedation per hour

Conscious sedation: during conscious sedation patients get in a relaxed state which helps them to overcome their fear and anxiety. During the dental treatment the cooperation of the patient is necessary: moving his/her mouth or turning his/her head. Conscious sedation does not mean sleeping. The patient is able to sense the environment, but with calmness and free from fear.

Autogenous bone graft from jawbone

Bone substitution methods at our clinic. The best quality material to be used for this purpose is autogenous bone: in other words, your own bone. Unfortunately, it is usually not there in sufficient quantity. So we must mix it with other bone substitution materials. Our dental surgeons get the bone from the following parts of your body: the surgical area of the implantation (small quant.), upper jaw (medium quantity), chin boss (medium quantity) and ramus mandibulate (large quantity). In case you need even more bone than this (in cases of sinus lift on both sides or thickening of the bone) our surgeons may take additional amount of bone from your hip bone in our sterile operating theatre under general anesthesia. Recovery time after bone removal from your hip bone is usually a week. Let us perform bone graft in cases where it would be impossible to do so in ambulant treatment.
