I had breast enlargement surgery with Oliver Harley. After breastfeeding two children I finally made the decision to make the leap, I wanted to be like I was before the children! Wow, I can't thank or recommend him enough. The whole process from start to finish was quick and relatively painless. I had an overnight stay at the McIndoe hospital in east Grinstead where the staff were lovely and I felt very cared for. I was discharged the following day, back at work after a week and now, 6months on I really couldn't be happier with the finished product. The mans a miracle worker. I would honestly say, stop thinking about it and just do it! The money it cost wasn't a fortune and was well worth it for the way I feel about myself now.

What is Rhinoplasty? Rhinoplasty is also known as a ‘nose-job’.  It is an operation which changes the shape of the nose to give a more aesthetically balanced appearance or perhaps to correct an established deformity.  There are a combination of changes which can be made to improve the appearance of the nose which include reshaping the bridge of the nose (usually reducing a hump), refining the tip of the nose, improving the projection of the tip, shortening the nose or narrowing wide nostrils.  The aim is to shape the nose so that it is more in keeping with the desired appearance of the patient and also in balance with the proportions of the face. What does the surgery involve? Rhinoplasty is typically carried out under general anaesthetic and you can go home on the day of surgery.  Sometimes a single night in hospital is advised.  The shape of the nose is determined by a framework of cartilages and bones.  Small cuts are made inside the nostrils to access the framework and reshape it.  Occasionally it is also necessary to have a small scar at the base of the nostrils or across the central strut (‘columella’) of the nose or tiny access incisions on the side of the nose.  The operation takes about 90 minutes. At the end of the operation a small splint and some tapes will be positioned and packs are inserted into the nostrils.  This is done to support the new shape of the nose while it sets.  Some cases are more complex and may require internal access to the central strut deep inside the nose ‘septum’ which is necessary to correct shape, airflow or to obtain cartilage grafts to assist with shaping the nose.  This is known as septo-rhinoplasty.

After an unsuccessful nose surgery 5 years ago in the UK, I was very unhappy with my nose and had developed breathing problems. I did some research and found out that turkey is among the top plastic surgery countries. I had never visited turkey before, so this would be a chance to plan a nice trip as well as solve my problem. I searched for plastic surgeons in Turkey and realised Istanbul is the heart of plastic surgeries. So narrowing my search I came up to Dr Ali. I was impressed by the results of his surgeries and decided to book for a surgery. His foreign patient coordinator Ayla gave me recommendations on how to plan my trip. She asked me to do all the sightseeing and touristic activities before the surgery. So I travelled to Istanbul, fell in love with the city! And had my surgery. Since Dr. Ali had good experience in secondary patients I was sure everything would be fine. The surgery took place 1 week after my arrival, and I remained in Istanbul for post-op controls for another week. It was one of the best experiences I had, seeing this beautiful and amazing city and getting to know Dr. Ali and his wonderful team. I have a perfect nose which looks pretty natural and could not be happier! Feeling wonderful again!

Rhinoplasty or "nose-job" is a 2-3 hour surgical operation performed under general anaesthesia that enables removal of the nasal hump, reduction of the nasal size and lifting of the tip. Minimal bruising and swelling can occur that resolves usually in 2-3 days.Professional photos of the nose and face are taken at the clinic and the face is analysed to decide what shape of the nose will look more natural according to your face.
