I had sleeve gastrectomy surgery and my family members had eclipse balloons. It was a wonderful experience for us with the whole medical team led by Professor Ali, Nurse Sude, translator Mohammed, Ali Musthapa and nurses at Ward 3. They've been very meticulous and professional in attending to our medical needs. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs such professional medical attention and hygiene at very affordable prices. 😀

Just 3 months ago, I made the best decision. I had gastric sleeve surgery. If you’re thinking about it just make sure you’re mentally ready. I've lost 25 kgs over 3 months. I still continue to lose. My surgery was a success, I'm really happy with my decision. Can't thank my doctor and the whole team enough.

Dr Cem, Almira, Zeynep, Gökçe and the hospital team were brilliant for my entire bypass process. From booking to arriving in Istanbul I was greeted by the most beautiful Maybach van to travel to the hospital with another patient, who I am still in contact with 3 months later as we share our journeys! I was taken to a very smart and clean private hospital room where all of my observations were done by quick and talented nursing staff. We were then whisked away to see the cardiologist attending, have x-rays done and sign all of our elective forms subject to satisfactory results from pre-op testing. The surgeon will not proceed with any kind of procedure if these do not come back as satisfactory! It's important to note I was not asked to pay any more than my deposit until it had been confirmed that I was going ahead with the operation and all test results were accepted. I slept in the hospital overnight. The bed was pretty unforgiving on my poor hips but all hospital beds are the same! Designed for function, not comfort. The next morning I saw Dr Cem again to confirm I would be the second one going under for the op day, so took the chance to wish my new room neighbour good luck as he was going first. The surgery itself was over in a flash. I had a slight added complication that the top of my belly is surprisingly narrow underneath that chunky layer of fat and I think they had to move a few things around a bit to get the job done. The surgeon was great though, I came away with 4 tiny cuts and one drainage pipe. The drainage is removed after about two days, it can be a nuisance to tote around but it has a clip attached to it so you can hook it onto your clothing. The nurses are incredibly attentive and will do anything for you. I was never short of water or pain relief after my op. The night nurses check on you religiously through the early hours. I found it very hard being able to only sleep on my back for long periods. With a bit of Google Translate's help, I was provided with extra pillows to support my arms and blankets. The view and noises from the window were really good. You'll hear the call to prayer countless times during your stay and the area is peaceful and respectful around the hospital. There was never any shouting or honking etc, all very relaxing. The blinds in the room were thankfully adjustable as Turkish mornings are very bright! The nurses will have you up and walking in a matter of hours after the surgery. The private wing is quiet and calming, you have a grab rail along the entire hallway to cling to if needed and plenty of chairs to rest on! It also gives you a chance to socialise a bit with other patients. We had me, an Englishman, a Welsh couple, and a Polish lady all in the same corridor. There are only about 8 suites in the wing, and it's keypad locked so there's no one without a purpose wandering past your room! I saw Dr Cem multiple times during my stay. He made a point of visiting to have a chat at least once a day with all of his patients, and he's a kind and knowledgeable man. His English and German are both good and with the help of Google Translate, we had some good conversations about the next steps. After 3 nights in hospital, my neighbour and I were given a very comprehensive rundown on vitamins, shakes, liquid diets, probiotics and medication before being transported to the hotel for the remainder of our stay. You'll receive blood thinners, painkillers, stomach protectors, bandages, you name it! You'll also be added to a personalised WhatsApp group with your surgeon, coordinators and nutritionist. Gökçe reminds you every day of changeover when it comes to amping your food intake back up and provides helpful menus. I lived on kefir and high protein yoghurt for the first few weeks due to some med withdrawal issues. Things to note: - You'll be in a good amount of discomfort for a few weeks. - You will get constipated - You won't shower from the morning of your surgery until you get to the hotel. Take antiperspirant and easy changes of clothing to stay fresh! - Istanbul is buzzing and vibrant, but you may not get the opportunity to explore post-surgery. - Remember to book your flight assistance for the trip back! Better to have it and not need it than vice versa. The coordinators deserve medals. Almira was omnipresent and so sweet. There was nothing too much for her if you asked. Zeynep had her conversion sleeve to bypass surgery the day before we arrived and she was still there to greet us and see us off while she was recovering too, which I appreciated the effort her seeing as she should have been at home in bed! If you're concerned about doing it, don't be. There was never a moment where I didn't feel completely safe. I am now 35kg lighter after 3 months and I look forward to a bright future. SW: 154KG

I had gastric bypass 7 months ago This was a little bit hard but now I am really okey I feel better I had ınsulin resistance but now I have not. I am very happy right now.

My experience with Dr. Ahmet and my gastric sleeve surgery has been excellent. He is very easygoing, knowledgeable and understanding, and experienced in his field. Always open to hearing concerns and well being of patients. I would recommend Dr. Ahmet to anyone wanting bariatric surgery. I am almost 5 months out and have I lost around 70 lbs, and my blood pressure is regular. I am so happy about the results. Also, I liked everything about all the services that Clinic Center has provided to me from the beginning till the end of my medical journey.

Transport to and from airport, hotel and clinic was always on time. Yavuz kept me up to date with all of my appointments and checked in regularly while healing. Dr Giray Genc did an amazing job with my previously broken nose! Now I have a perfect straight nose and hump removed. Couldn’t be happier! Already planning a trip back!! 🇦🇺

I have just returned home having had laser eye surgery through Sam Patient Services. I had initially thought I would have it done in the UK but I was quoted £4,500 so I decided to research going to Turkey - I have previously been to Izmir but via a different company. Having done my research I decided to contact Sam patient services where my coordinator (Murat)asked for information about my eyesight, general health questions etc and I sent them an eye report from the opticians so that the surgeon could review all the information to see if I was suitable. I was also advised that there were several options for laser eye surgery (all explained individually along with the prices and what was included I.e. accommodation, breakfast etc) and that this could be discussed with the surgeon as to which would be more suitable for me. The surgeon confirmed that I was suitable and I would be able to have the procedure in around 3 weeks time! I then paid a small deposit to secure my booking but the remaining balance would need to be pain in sterling on arrival - this is common practice in Turkey. On arrival to Izmir I was collected from the airport via VIP taxi service who took me to the hotel - the Ramada Encore. The hotel was lovely and I had a sea view room on the 17th floor. After a short time my coordinator arrived to take payment and explained we would then go to the eye hospital (only 5 minutes away). I had several tests at the eye hospital and everything was explained to me at all stages in the process. The English spoken was very good. I was then introduced to the eye surgeon who explained more about the procedures and I decided to have the ‘Smile’ surgery. I was told I was able to have the surgery in around an hours time! I was transferred with another representative from Sam (everyone I met from Sam spoke excellent English and were lovely!) via hospital minibus to the central location to have the surgery. I was gowned up and given some eye drops and pain relief before the surgery. There was no pain during the surgery and the surgeon spoke to me (again in very good English!) throughout the procedure which was very quick. Afterwards it was explained to me about taking my eye drops and medication and I was given protective glasses to wear and potential side effects. My eyes were a bit blurry afterwards and I just wanted to close them - it had been a long day so I made sure I had all the medication and went to sleep! I was booked in for a check up the next morning where I met the surgeon again who confirmed everything was a success and confirmed my eyes would continue to improve over the next 3 months. I could see so much better already! I was also given information on the procedure to take home with me along with further medication. The next day I did a tour to Ephesus which Sam patient services arranged and would recommend. The following day I returned home! It’s amazing the difference it has made already - my issue was distance and astigmatism. I would whole heartedly recommend Sam Patient Services and would contact them again if I wanted any further procedures. I felt reassured the whole time and anytime I needed to speak to my coordinator they were really responsive to my questions. I have not been paid for this review but believe that when good service is received it should be recognised.

I travelled to Turkey, Antalya for a breast reduction and I have to say the results have been incredible. I was assisted by Alexandra and Ayşe who were unbelievably hospitable and accommodating. I would also like to say a massive thank you to the Clinics United team including the Surgeon and everyone who looked after me in the hospital. If I decide to have a surgical procedure done again I will most certainly be returning. I would honestly recommend Clinics United to anyone who is looking for surgery. Thank you so much.

I went to Turkey in September 2023 for gastric sleeve surgery. We were picked up at the airport in a private transfer and taken to the hospital and greeted by the wonderful Irem. The staff were amazing, the nurses and staff at the hospital, the cleaners, the surgeon were all brilliant. Irem took care of me and was there every step of the way, any questions were answered and I felt so at ease. Everything was thoroughly explained at all points, tests were extremely thorough. Gastric sleeve - highly recommend this company. Go above and beyond, from start to finish they have always been there if I had any questions. Asli was my rep and she was amazing, translated everything to me, always made sure I was okay and checked up on me, also my surgeon Dr Erdem, he was amazing.. so talented with all his work and also checked up on me every morning and reassured me. My flight home with jet2 was a nightmare and they wouldn't let me fly home due to their policy.. (check policy regarding surgery) but ayt team picked me back up from the airport .. got me a hotel for another night to get another flight then took me back to the airport. They were amazing. I will be back next year 🙌

Dr Elif is a FABULOUS plastic Surgeon Find!!! I am almost 68 years old. In my regular annual eye exam, my Optometrist suggested that my upper eyelids were resting down upon my eyelashes and I was due for the eyelift surgery. He recommended Dr. Elif from Medhera Health Clinic to me and I called and got in to see her. She did the upper and lower eye reductions and after 3 weeks you can't even tell where she made the incisions!! Her work is so symmetric and precise and clean I am sure it is because of her vast amount of experience in this field! I look easily 15 years younger and so much more light gets to my eyes. I no longer wake up with gunk in my eyes!! I was home that same day, and because of how well it was closed up and bandaged, I was able to sleep for almost 8 hours on my back using my C-pap without waking. It is now the day after and I feel fine and am about to take a vigorous mile walk!! I can't say enough about this wonderful plastic surgeon. What an amazing find Dr. Elif and Medhera Health Team!

I was operated by Dr. Karadeniz on 13/12/2021. I had a gastric sleeve since then I've lost half my weight. (Starting weight 121kg now 59kg). I received a very friendly welcome and was treated very well. My translator was Sezen, she is such a great and loving person and explained everything to me very well. I'm so glad I made this decision. Dr Karadeniz gave me a new life I would do it again anytime! Thanks alot!

The gastric sleeve weight loss surgery is very life changing and a success. Losing weight, feeling good, energetic, happy, dreams coming true, confident, active sex drive, sleeping better and the list goes on. The surgery is the best investment I have ever made. I choose the clinic because of the positive impact and changes they made on people lives. The doctors and nurses were very welcoming and helpful at the clinic at the start until the end. Right from enquiring about this surgery the clinic has been immensely helpful and communication has been great. The surgery went well and aftercare was 5* I felt at ease & comfortable throughout. Highly recommend. I had a gastric ballon six months ago. I lost 20 kg with the support and great advices from Dietitian Nur. Dr Kaplan is a very good doctor with huge experience and always want the best option for patient. It was a good experience. Also good value for money.

What can I say but Wow clincton is an amazing company. Our representative was Seline and she was so kind, supportive and patient with my daughter and I. My daughter had an operation too and Seline even scrubbed up and went into the operating room with her as she was so nervous. This meant she missed lunch and was at the hospital for hours with her. She was always on call and got all our answers immediately. So kind to us both and Bella and appreciate her so much. The surgeons for both mine and Bella were absolutely brilliant. My result was so natural and I feel and look ten years younger. My daughter’s surgery was done a by an expert with. Perfect results I can thank you Seline and the whole team at Clincton. What a wonderful team. From the time I stepped in the hospital I was greeted by Nesrin who has a lovely friendly smile. I arrive on the 7th Oct. She explained everything in detail in a calm way on what examinations I will be having for the go ahead of my surgery. This took a couple of hours but to be fair it went quick. This is when I met the surgeon again- very welcoming and friendly made me feel at ease. He explained everything even showed me the instrument that they will be using and showed me the make and where they purchase these from (not China) I asked my all my questions which was answered so had no worries. My room wasn't quite ready so was allowed to go out exploring the surroundings which was great as there was a market on 8th Oct went down for my surgery at 8 o'clock. Next minute was waking up in my room feeling very cold. In and out of sleep for the rest of the day. From then on I was being monitored by the nurses, given pain killers drips etc. Was well looked after. Also met Burcu what a lovely person. Who went out of her way to drive us to the nice restaurants (before surgery) really is amazing person. Day before I left I had a meeting with the nutritionist who explained thoroughly what I will be eating drinking exercises and time frames. I was given all my drugs and got myself a month's worth of protein shakes. Finally picked up at 9 o'clock on the 11th Oct in the evening by there driver to the airport. All I can say is thank you all for being there for me throughout my stay and would definitely go back to the NewMe health clinic.
