What a truly amazing experience. Could not have asked for more. Dr was Amazing, very relaxed and professional. Procedures were awesome, each step explained in full detail. Arthur was my first point of call, he was always there to support me and checking I was ok, I could not have done it without Arthur he was my rock. Miguel the photographer was kind, professional and amusing, he made me feel like a million dollars. My drivers Daniel and Michal were also very kind and professional, taking very good care of me and making sure I was safe. This has been a fantastic experience. I cannot wait to come back. I cannot praise CORAMED Clinic enough, I researched over a year before deciding on CORAMED, I went back and forth between Prague, Belgium or Poland, eventually deciding on Poland. First I contacted Anna the Co-ordinator, I rang her, she was fantastic, we WhatsApp messaged and called each other. I decided on a date, Anna arranged everything else, I had my driver picked my husband and I from the airport and take us to the hotel. I then had blood tests etc before my consultation, this was all included in the price. I had breast revision surgery and at the last minute decided I wanted upper eyelid surgery. I’m so pleased with the results, I’m 6 weeks post Op and feel great. My eyes look amazing, I was looking at £7000.00 in the UK for the breast surgery, at the CORAMED it was £3,700. That included picking up from airport, blood tests, consultation, surgery, anaesthetist, one night at the clinic, driver taking me back to the hotel, also a check-up a day before my return flight, we were also driven back to the airport for the flight home. Me and my friend went to this clinic for surgery, my friend had the bottom of her eye bags removed. I had a facelift and top and bottom eye surgery. The results are fantastic it was very reasonably priced cheaper than England, hospital is lovely and clean and very new looking. The surgeon who did my and my friend's surgery was a very nice man and helped me with what he thought would help with better results. Mac is the gentleman who picks you up from the airport and takes you to the clinic every day, he is a lovely man very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We had our surgery on the 8th of January and they still message to see if everything is ok. thank you very much. They are lovely people I would highly recommend this clinic and would go a gain for surgery without a doubt.
Treatment: Total Hip Arthroplasty, and post-op rehab. I am no stranger to ‘Health Tourism’, and contacted several clinics in other countries for the same operation – total hip replacement on one side. I contacted KCM Clinic after reading reviews and details on ‘What Clinic’ website. From that point on, I was most impressed with the speed, detailed information and costs sent by KCM, such that I decided to go ahead and have my hip replaced by them in preference to others. The UK NHS was a total non-starting failure. Every single aspect of the visit from arrival in Wroclaw to homeward journey was almost ‘micro-managed’ with superb efficiency. Transport from/to the airport, hotel arrangements, transport to/from the clinic nearby, pre-surgery assessments, surgery and hospital clinic stay, daily physiotherapy afterwards, all happened extremely smoothly. Yes, there was quite a bit of ‘waiting around’ at times during pre-op assessment, some of it caused by my own request for further cardiology assessment. The actual hip replacement operation occurred as arranged and was very straightforward. The level of care from clinic staff was exceptionally high, the coordinator was extremely helpful and accommodating at all times, the surgeon attended every day after the operation to check on progress and even changed the dressing himself, and the rehab. The physiotherapist always gave superb individual attention to maximise post-operative mobility. A very detailed discharge pack was handed to me when leaving the clinic, including CDs of all X-rays and diagnostic images, ready to pass on to the GP when returning to UK (in Polish, though – but I’m sure it can be well understood in medical circles). Can I recommend them? Without reservation! What about language? Polish is spoken throughout, but nearly everyone has a good command of English or German so communication was never an issue. I was continually impressed by the clinic, and they showed what true ‘health care’ is all about. All-in-all it has been the most positive experience, well beyond my expectations, and one that I will repeat soon for the other side! Thank you so much, KCM.
