I am a nutritional psychotherapist and an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist - I work with thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviours to figure out what is driving them. I obtained my Psychotherapy Degree (hons) from CIT/MTU. I also qualified as a nutritionist and studied Integrative nutrition for Complex Trauma and PTSD.
My clients come to me because they are suffering from anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties and/or self-esteem, and issues related to weight management and nutrition.
I work online with clients from all over Ireland. My clinic overlooks the strand in Youghal where I work face-to-face with clients who travel from Cork City, East Cork and West Waterford.
My approach is professional, relaxed and friendly. My client's well-being is always at the centre of therapy. Confidentiality is always top priority.
I tailor therapy to each clients needs. Key to my approach is identifying objectives and goals for our work together such as:
– Connecting with a sense of inner purpose
– Experiencing freedom from food related issues
– Connecting more in relationships
– Overcoming feelings of stress, anxiety and/or depression
– Overcoming trauma (complex trauma and PTSD)
- Feeling energised and comfortable in their bodies
I use a number of therapeutic frameworks including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment, NeuroAffective Relational Model for restoring connection, Person Centred, Life Script and Transactional Analysis. I also practice integrative nutrition for complex trauma and PTSD.
All sessions last 50 minutes.
