From there she then studied Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh progressing the modules above and looking into psychosocial issues and neurological physiotherapy. Since graduating Louise has gained qualifications in sports massage, trigger point, myofacial release, strapping and taping, sports first aid, shoulder course and ultimate knee rehab. Her main job has been at the Edinburgh Royal infirmary progressing her career within respiratory, elective and trauma orthopaedics, neuromuscular disorders and musculoskeletal. Louise also works as a sports Physiotherapist at Murrayfield Wanderers RFC and has previously worked with Edinburgh Accies RFC and Livingston RFC. An examination was made of my ankle recovering from a fracture last year. I was looking for an assessment of its current strength and mobility. The Physio has given me exercises for strengthening the ankle area and this will give me confidence for the future so that I can resume hill walking. I chose this Physiotherapist after a recommendation and was impressed with their professionalism.
