GP referral is not required.  On your first visit a thorough assessment will be performed.  Based on the assessment your physiotherapist will explain their findings and discuss with you the possible treatment options.  An agreed programme of treatment will be devised and will be reviewed regularly to ensure progress is going to plan.  No payment is required up front and no blocks of treatments need to be booked.  We will do all we can to give you the tools to assist with your recovery.  PhysiCare will liaise with your GP, other health professional or even your employer if appropriate and with your consent.

Lanarkshire Neurotherapy has two clinic locations. In Lanark and in Lesmahagow (Auchlochan garden village) and also provides a home visit service for those who cannot attend the clinic. Both clinics are fully accessible and have disabled access facilities. The Auchlochan clinic has onsite parking and cafe facilities.

On your first visit to the clinic, you will have a full subjective and objective examination. This is followed by the appropriate treatment and advice, best suited to your needs. The first session can last anything up to an hour. Follow up sessions can last anything up to 45 minutes, depending on the problems being treated. A wide range of Physiotherapy treatments are available including: •Trigger point release of soft tissue •Mobilising Joints •Electrotherapy (IFT / Ultrasound)•Acupuncture •Cortisone Injections •Manipulating Joints •Rehabilitation, involving – Core Stability, Strength Training and Stretching Programmes
