Natasha Green

Job Title:
 Physiotherapist
Biography:
I qualified in south Africa as a Physiotherapist in 1992. I came to the UK to travel for a year and have not moved on.
I developed my passion for rehabilitation in its many roles when I was working at a private rehabilitation hospital in London. I worked in Hong Kong and many areas in the UK before settling in Yorkshire where I worked at the Yorkshire Regional Spinal Injuries Centre for 7 years developing the outreach service and running numerous clinics- botox, seating and posture, wheelchairs and reviews.

I finally left the YRSIC in 2003 and continued working in various Neurological treatment settings between my travels to South America. In 2005 I had the opportunity to develop a specialist rehabilitation centre for clients from all over the UK.

Job Title:
 Physiotherapist
Biography:
I qualified 2001 at Keele University and have worked  in the NHS and private sector specialising in acquired brain injury and complex neurological conditions.

I have lectured on physiotherapy courses at Manchester
Metropolitan University and worked as a manual handling trainer.

My particular areas of interest include spasticity management, postural management and
respiratory complications.

Jodie Watson

Biography:
I have worked at Tops for over 7 years as a physiotherapy assistant and have expanded my role over the years through various courses and from hands on experience. 2012 has seen the end of my studies (at last!). After 6 years of part time study at York University and then at Huddersfield, I passed with a 1st class honours degree in Exercise, Physical, Activity and Health. I had my graduation in July, which was presented by Patrick Stewart. So what now? Well my job role has changed, I am now a rehabilitation instructor and have taken on more rehab clients for regular exercise and mobility work to compliment their physio sessions. I have also started venturing out into the community to provide exercise sessions for specialised groups such as the elderly in care homes and disabled groups as well as hydrotherapy sessions for physio clients. The start of 2012 also saw me start teaching zumba classes which now run twice weekly with a new chair based zumba class which started recently aimed at those with mobility problems. I previously completed a foundation degree in rehabilitation as well as a diploma in reflexology and I am also a qualied gym instructor.
