PRK - Photorefractive Keratectomy Istanbul

I have been using reading glasses for 6 years since the age of 42. My eye disorder was so advanced that I could not even see inside my car without glasses and see anything while I was driving. I also had a little bit of astigmatism. I have researched LASIK or Presbyopia Lasik surgery a lot, but all the doctors I went, they told me that they could not perform LASIK surgery and I should have lens replacement. So I did not want to have cataract surgery at this young age and after my research, I learned that there may be a lot of side effects related to Cataract surgery, I decided not to have Cataract surgery. In June 2019 when I was 48 years old, I met with Dr.Oktay Kumral and he suggested me Presbyopia LASIK surgery and I learned that He was one of the most experienced laser eye surgeons in Europe. He gave me very detailed information about the procedure. After I learned that the Excimer Laser equipment used by Dr.Oktay Kumral is the state of the art technology. Finally, I decided to have Laser surgery. Dr.Oktay Kumral did my Presbyopia Lasik Surgery within 15 minutes, and I started to read and see without glasses right after the operation! He also treats my Astigmatism at the same time. I did not experience much pain, aches or problems during and after the surgery. It was truly an amazing experience for me. Now I can read everything without glasses and now my quality of life is the same as before. I would like to recommend Dr Kumral for every Presbyopia Patients who want to get rid of Reading Glasses. I have been suffering from my reduced vision. That is to say that I had to wear contact lenses and glasses for approximately six years. I finally decided to do the Eye surgery in Turkey for a perfect price, also a very excellent treatment done by both the surgeon and his assistants! I have done the so-called " PRK / Lasek" surgery since the surgeon decided upon doing it because of my thin cornea. As noticed the results went absolutely fine and you could pretty much rely upon the treatment. I felt sure that the doctors are most familiar with the procedures and everything they do. Excellent. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Since I don't speak Turkish, they were very friendly toward me. I would certainly recommend this Medical treatment for anybody suffering from his/her vision. I have received eye drops after I have done my post controls. I have been in the hospital for a few times for a recheck up for my eyes and their development after the surgery. I was guided by Emre Altin. A very kind, helpful gentleman who did his best to satisfy me and help me with the translations since I don't speak Turkish. I was treated by Dr Hanefi Cakir and Erdinc Ceylan. I would definitely recommend this clinic highly by their kind and excellent medical treatment! I have been told much about the medical treatment in Turkey. A few other members have done the eye surgery in this clinic. I got to know some stuff about it. I also got highly recommended by others and wanted to have a visit to Istanbul to do the surgery. I got pleased with the services and recommendations. They were really prompt to help me. Though my eye is not 100% healed yet It will probably get better by these three months as the doctor advised me to use the eye drops.
