They even gave me a cap for the train journey! I spoke to Sabrina a couple of days later, and she went through any concerns that I may have which to my surprise were none!   • With reference to those considering using Kienecker Medical, I would certainly recommend the organisation, and would reassure you that the surgery should not be feared. As with any surgery, the fact that cuts are made to the back of your head, will be painful for the first two days or so, and I would suggest getting an additional stock of strong pain killers to those given to you by Kienecker, whether you use them or not, just having them available will make you feel reassured.Roz, UK, 23 Mar 13
  • I would be perfectly honest, it does take around six or seven days to start feeling better after the surgery, and I would not rush back to work for this reason, and would suggest getting a good pile of DVDs, books and other entertainment ready as day time TV can be dreary unless you are a big fan of Fearn Cotton and Jeremy Kyle. One absolute thing you must not lose is the sleeping tablet given to you for the first night after surgery, I did, and without it, it was an extremely long night, and not for any good reason.Roz, UK, 23 Mar 13
