Mark graduated from Leeds Dental School in 1992.
He was awarded the prize for ‘Most Distinguished Student in
Final Year.’ Following three years hospital training, Mark spent 2
years working in practice in London and Buckinghamshire before
returning to his Geordie roots in the North East.
Whilst working at a large specialist practice in Teesside, Mark
developed a special interest in dental sedation and dental
implants. In 1999 Mark achieved the Diploma in Conscious
Sedation and Pain control in dentistry, and became a sedation
trainer for the Northern region.
Mark passed the examination to be accepted as a member of the
Royal College of Surgeons Faculty of General Dental
Practitioners, MFGDP(UK) RCS, in 2006, and currently he is
nearing completion of a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from
Warwick University
