Desford Dental Care

Asmita is an experienced General Dental Practitioner, having graduated from Kings College School of Medicine and Dentistry, London, in 1994. Her excellent clinical skills enable Asmita to provide a wide range of dental treatments, from routine care to advanced cosmetic procedures. Her friendly and caring approach makes her very popular with her patients, especially those who may be nervous.

Asmita enjoys theatre, ballroom dancing, travelling, gardening, current affairs, reading crime thrillers and going to Take That concerts.

Hanish qualified as a dental surgeon in 1991, graduating from the University of Birmingham. He has since completed a 1 year cosmetic dentistry course in 2007 with Dr. Christopher Orr, past president of the British Academy of Dental Surgeons (BACD), and has also completed a 1 year long Implant Dentistry course at the University of Sheffield in 2010.

Hanish is fully trained in Invisalign, and in addition can offer alternative therapies such as acupuncture, NLP and hypnosis. He is a member of the BDA, BDAS, SAAD and BACD and has trained as a BDA Audit Facilitator. Desford Dental Care is also a training practice and Hanish is a fully qualified Dental Foundation Dental Trainer.

In his spare time, Hanish enjoys playing football, badminton, travelling and being a father.

Huda graduated from Kings College School of Medicine and Dentistry, London, in 2008 and her first position was a 1 year placement as a Vocational Trainee (VT) with Desford Dental Care, training under Hanish. Huda enjoyed her VT year so much that, after a short break to have a baby, she decided to return to Desford Dental Care as a part time Associate Dentist. During her maternity leave, Huda took a course in NLP and hypnosis, which enables her to help nervous patients feel at ease.

In her free time (which is minimal with a toddler!) Huda enjoys exercise and dinner parties.
