Botanics Dental Care

Principal dentist Colin Gardner BDS, GDC reg no 63929, graduated from Dundee University Dental Hospital and School in 1988. Since that time he has worked almost exclusively in Glasgow’s West End.

During his career, Colin has constantly sought to keep up-to-date with current thinking and the most modern techniques available within the profession, regularly attending postgraduate courses all over the UK. He has developed a keen interest in advanced restorative dentistry including implants, and all forms of cosmetic treatments. The in-depth, thorough examinations and preventive advice he provides are unhurried, meticulous and last around thirty minutes.

Qualified dental nurse Tara GDC reg no 208159 (UK) completed her dental nurse training at Glasgow Dental Hospital and qualified with merit in November 2010. Taras clinical experience began in 2006. Tara has worked in both Glasgow and Edinburgh she loves her job more than ever after moving to Botanics Dental Care. 

Colette Ballantyne GDC reg no 5598, qualified from Edinburgh Dental Institute in 1999 and has worked in several dental practices within Glasgow over the years. She works hard in motivating and educating patients in prevention and talks non-stop about flossing

Kerry qualified as a dental nurse reg no 218001 (UK) with an NVQ Level 3 certificate from the School of Dental Studies at Coatbridge College in June 2010. She has worked as a dental nurse since 2009 in the private dental sector. Providing a high level of patient care is the most rewarding aspect of Kerrys role and she looks forward to furthering her skills and knowledge in the future. Kerry loves working at Botanics Dental Care and having a great team around her makes every day more enjoyable!
