I attended Highfield Dental & Facial Clinic on Tuesday 31st January 2023 for my routine visit to the hygienist and dentist. I have been a patient for many years and as always I received a first class service. The clinic was immaculate and the staff at every level was efficient, friendly and totally professional. They always make allowances for my age and check that I am comfortable. If you are looking for a dental practice in Southampton you will not find a better one than this clinic.

I came into SmileKind for a dental extraction, having waited a year on the Poole Hospital waiting list. I was nervous (of course!) but the lovely Hungarian receptionist was immediately welcoming. Then Sarah took me in - what a warm, kind and empathetic person she is. She explained what the procedure entailed and by the time Sami came in, I was much more relaxed. Sami too was delightful and totally reassuring. I knew I was in good hands and indeed, the procedure was over miraculously quickly and almost painless. He explained what I could expect in the following couple of days and Sarah gave me a very comprehensive sheet of instructions to take away. The next day, as promised, I was phoned to check if I was okay. I was! This practice is truly exceptional in its professionalism, expertise and compassion. I wish them all well. We moved to this practice has been at the previous one for 30 years. It was a recommendation and I have to say we have not been disappointed. The service is second to none. Friendly staff who make you feel like you are their only client. We signed up for a payment plan which is of excellent value. I have had three check-ups and three hygienist visits all have been excellently talked through and treatment explained. I felt like it was about me rather than about a business. Wonderful Practice.

I am a nervous patient and I was put at ease from the first moment. The reception staff is very welcoming and friendly. They help you to accommodate your appointment around work commitments. I highly recommend Dr Schmidt, who is friendly and knowledgeable. He thoroughly explained the procedure and plan for my needs. I felt all options were given to me to make my decision regarding having a denture and not just going after the money. Nurses are caring and supportive and I can't thank the whole team enough to make this my experiences pleasant despite the pain I was going through.

Went to the Portswood surgery for teeth clean, this was my first visit. The hygienist and assistant were very professional and welcoming. Very thorough clean, not rushed, and given advice about mouth wash. Wasn't cheap, think about 100 pounds, but I felt I got good value, and they made this 'chore' as pleasant as they could.
