Levengrove Dental Care

Before settling in Dumbarton Ghyll worked in a variety of hospital and specialist centres after qualifying in 1991 and achieving the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1995. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a special interest in cosmetics, dentures and anti-snoring appliances (the mandibular advancement splint). Ghyll is also a post graduate trainer in General Dental Practice.

Alison graduated from Glasgow Dental Hospital & School in 2004. She has gained vast experience working in General Dental Practice in the Glasgow area since then combining this with intense post graduate training. Since joining Levengrove Dental Care in August 2008, and taking over Patricia Craigs patients following her retiral, Alison has thrived in the new environment and thoroughly enjoyed working with such a motivated practice.

Eve has been with the practice since August 2008 and has built up a very healthy following of patients to keep her very busy. She has considerable clinical experience and comes with glowing recommendations from previous work colleagues regarding her high academic and clinical achievements. She also happens to be very well liked by her patients – which in this job, is a big bonus! Eve spends her spare time in the crazy world of outdoor adrenaline sports.

Patrick is the newest addition to the practice, and has been warmly welcomed by all staff and patients alike. He has gained considerable clinical experience and comes with glowing references. His good humour and excellent treatment abilities have seen his list of patients continually grow and he is managing this work load with ease. In his spare time, aside from beer and running (not together) Patrick can be found rehearsing, on stage as bass player with his band or travelling far and wide to see other musicians play.

Julie qualified as a Dental Hygienist whilst serving in the Royal Navy, gaining her Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. She has a wealth of experience having worked with dental officers with specialist interests in restorative dentistry, implantology and periodontology. Having retired from the Royal Navy, Julie now works in practice, whilst also lecturing part time. She maintains and updates her clinical knowledge through regular continuing professional development attending postgraduate courses and meetings. This is when she has time amongst her other hobbies of skydiving, scuba diving, running and cycling.
