Gentle Dental - Newquay

After my last review, I want to let others know that my latest treatment was absolutely fine. I explained to my dentist what the problem was with my front capped tooth and without hesitation the treatment went ahead. My husband also had front teeth repairs and is really pleased with the results. Would recommend Gentle Dental in Newquay

Adding on from my first review about Gentle Dental I went to have my front bridge ‘fixed’ and Adam did a good repair. Will probably have another tooth replaced as apparently our teeth darken with age and as the bridge I had is so good it shows up my own natural tooth. Hopefully, Adam will attend to it as he is now aware of the jaw problem I have.

Went back and after my previous review explained I like to have treatment discussed. My dentist understood when I said I would have had four teeth on my bridge instead of 3 if I’d known that one ‘real’ tooth next to them would be darker, which happens with age. Never mind as I can get it replaced later in the year. Adam did a good job repairing a damaged capped tooth and if it’s to be replaced I will have the 2 replaced. I hope he will agree to do it for me as my bottom bridge is fine.

Needed a replacement for my front bridge which had fallen out with two teeth on and asked to have the two alongside whitened. Surprised to see three teeth on the bridge. When I asked why my request wasn’t carried out I was told it was because a tooth next to the original bridge was rotten. Not happy that this just went ahead without discussing it with me first.

The paper treatment plan would only make sense to someone who could read the technical details so the practice needs to learn to sit and fully explain in layman’s terms what needs to be done. I just sat in the chair and drilling began when I simply expected an impression to be taken. The three teeth on a bridge are fine but after one more filling I think I will wait until next year for a further checkup
