In our office temporary crown is mandatory part of all prosthodontic services. The main role of temporary crown is to maintain and protect the gums around the prepared tooth and tooth itself. Temporary crown also improves patients quality of life during the procedure - both from functional but also from esthetic aspect. Temporary crowns can be made chair-side, either from the impression of the patients tooth or by using the preformed celluloid matrices. In specific cases, when long term temporization is needed, we can make a computer designed and machine milled temporary crowns (CAD/CAM).

In our office we have several different implant systems available. Primary selection criteria on which implant system should be used is patients specific anatomical situation, but we also take in consideration patients financial situation. We offer all of the top European implant manufacturer brands like BioHorizons, AstraTech, Straumann, Nobel Biocare... but we can also offer somewhat more affordable solutions coming from the companies more popular in the USA like Implant Direct, Osstem, MiS, B&B Dental, Cortex...

Our office prefers two stage surgical approach for implant placement. This means that you will get the prosthetic restoration (crown or bridge) on your implant only after it is completely and safely healed in your bone. This, commonly called, "loading" of the implant usually is performed 3 months after placement. Special surgical protocols can be used to reduce this healing time to as little as 6 weeks. In some specific cases you can even receive a temporary prosthetic solution (temporary crown or bridge) immediately after implant placement.

Radiographic imaging is an essential part of all dental procedures, therefore, it is routinely used in our office. In our office we use only digital dental radiography because of its superior imaging quality and significantly reduced radiation exposure for patients.

For regular small x-rays we use digital acquisition sensors and software by Dexis. We do not charge extra for this service.

Extractions are routinely performed in our office. This procedure is done in local anesthesia. Generally this is a one visit only procedure since usually no suturing of extraction wound is needed. 

Wisdom tooth removal is routinely performed in our office. It is performed in local anesthesia. For few days after surgery you can feel a slight discomfort but this intervention usually goes without and significant pain or swelling. If standard wound suturing is performed you will need a short second visit after 5-7 days for suture removal. If resorbable materials are used for suturing you can finish in one visit only.

Lingual and labial frenectomies are performed in local anesthesia, usually by high frequency electrosurgery device that cuts and coagulates the tissue in the same time. By using this device, patient recuperation period after surgery is reduced to a minimum and usually only one or two sutures are needed, if any.

Root Canal Treatments are performed using all of the modern endodontic methods, equipment and materials. Usually, you will need only one visit for your endo treatment. By using advanced resin base root canal sealers you can also get your filling, root post or your tooth prepared for crown in the same visit.

Sinus floor elevation is performed routinely when there is not enough bone height available to place an ideal length implant in posterior region of upper jaw. Two methods of sinus lift can be performed. First one is called "internal" because it is done during the implant placement through the already made preparation hole drilled for future implant. This procedure is very common and usually doesnt require any additional healing time. In "lateral" approach, another access hole is made on the side of the upper jaw, sinus membrane is than elevated and gained space is filled with augmentation material. Lateral approach is used for large sinus augmentations, sometimes implants can be placed simultaneously but in some cases they have to be placed later after sinus has healed.

In-Office whitening treatment can be performed either with universal whitening trays, while siting in our comfortable waiting room, or chair-side by a qualified dentist. The later one consists of three 15 minute sessions during which whitening gel is applied on your teeth after your gums and surrounding tissues are thoroughly protected. Usually only mild sensitivity can occur in patients that already have a history of tooth sensitivity to hot or cold stimulus.
