Veneers: In dentistry, a veneer is a thin layer of restorative material placed over a tooth surface, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth, or to protect a damaged tooth surface. There are two main types of material used to fabricate a veneer, composite(Lumineers) and porcelain. A composite veneer may be directly placed (built-up in the mouth), or indirectly fabricated by a dental technician in a dental laboratory, and later bonded to the tooth, typically using a resin cement such as Rely X ARC. In contrast, a porcelain veneer may only be indirectly fabricated.

Review After searching many dental clinics in Costa Rica, I decided to go with Costa Rica Dental Team because it is the only clinic owned and operated by an American. Everyone spoke perfect English, which was very important for me. The pricing was very competitive with other clinics that didn't speak any English, and my cost included transportation to and from my hotel, which was very convenient. They also offer a 10 year replacement guarantee on their website, which is very comforting. No US dentist has ever offered that to me before. At the end, I have an excellent new smile and a few extra friends from Costa Rica Dental Team.
