This culminated in a post-graduate fellowship at the prestigious Western Australia Burns Service. His current research interests include tissue engineering, cell culture technology and looking at ways of improving scarring outcomes.Mr Lewis regularly teaches junior doctors, including trainee plastic surgery registrars and examines on the West Midlands Advanced Plastic Surgery Course.Mr Lewis is a full member of The British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
