Lisa Sacks

0117 325 1662 Bristol Nuffield Hospital at the Chesterfield, 3 Clifton Hill, Bristol, BS8 1BN
Rating from 58 Reviews Every aspect of my life is improved and I am comfortableElena, Marlborough, 06 Oct 16

It's 18 months since I had surgery for full tummy tuck with Lisa. I had had lots of gynaecological surgery in the past including two Caesarean section deliveries, and was left with bad scarring and a "pooch" overhang around my midriff. I was very self conscious about this and also physically uncomfortable as clothing didn't fit properly. I thought that as the problem was cosmetic it would be just vanity to have the surgery and put it off for years. In the meantime I was comfort-eating because I was miserable and had piled on some weight. When I tried to lose this weight after years of overeating, I couldn't tone my tummy no matter what I tried, so went to see Lisa to ask an opinion. I wanted a female surgeon as I hoped she would understand better than a male doctor. I really felt bad about even doing this as I was just being vain in my opinion. Lisa explained that during pregnancy my abdominal muscles had completely separated and were so damaged that they would never go back to normal. The "pooch" was the result of excess stretched skin, and I had "tied" stitching from the Caesarean sections. She also suspected I had a hernia. No amount of dieting or exercise would fix these. She made me feel so much better about myself just explaining this to me. So I went ahead with the surgery, I did indeed have a hernia, which could have caused great problems. This was repaired as part of my procedure. Recovery was not easy and painful, but I had ample support, advice (and pain-killers) from Lisa all the way. Lots of aftercare appointments and support. Once recovered from the surgery I had even more support and advice from Lisa (and her lovely secretary) regarding tackling my weight loss. I now am a new woman! Target weight reached and maintained. Youthful figure regained. My abdomen is flat and smooth and muscles strong. The scarring is visible but not ugly and I feel I have a new lease of life, due to my now strong self confidence. Every aspect of my life is improved and I am comfortable. A happy experience! Hospital care and facilities excellent. Food was first class. I was treated like a VIP the whole time. Lisa and her staff were always charming and attentive and I was reassured at all time and everything was explained to me very carefully. I would not hesitate to recommend Lisa to anyone considering this type of procedure.

Eyelid surgery £2400  -  £5000
By removing excess skin and bags, eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) can improve many of these problems. It cannot, however, totally eradicate all eyelid creases. Doing so would create excess tension on the eyelids and result in an overcorrection. Nor can surgery remove laugh lines at the sides of the eyes or malar bags (bulges high on the cheek bones).

The Chiltern Medical Clinic - Goring on Thames

Rating from 3 Reviews Really lovelySusan, oxfordshire, 12 Jun 14

The location and receptionist were really lovely as was the Dr I saw. I wasn't rushed and although the appointments were running late I was able to spend a good amount of time with him. I'm going back next Friday for a treatment, and feel happy about having it at the Chiltern centre.

Eyelid surgery From £2300
At the Chiltern Medical Clinic, we have a dedicated eye surgeon, Dr Annette Bacon, whose clinical specialities are cosmetic eye surgery, ophthalmology, meibomian cysts, oculoplastic surgery and cataract surgery. Dr Bacon is particularly skilled in eyelid surgery, which is also known as Blepharoplasty. Eyelid surgery can help restore a more youthful appearance by tightening your droopy or hooded eyelids, restoring their smooth line, and removing or moving fatty pouches beneath the eyes. As every case is different, we would need to discuss your individual needs during an initial consultation so you can find out more about the procedure.
Blepharoplasty From £2300
Blepharoplasty literally means ‘refashioning of the eyelid’ and is an operation to improve the appearance of the skin around the eyes.We will usually perform an upper eyelid blepharoplasty as a day-case procedure. The surgeon will draw specific marks on your upper eyelid before the appropriate anaesthetic is administered. This procedure can be carried out under local anaesthetic, depending on which feels right for you.Once the anaesthetic takes effect, we will remove the excess skin using radiofrequency cutting. If you have bulging fat in your upper eyelid, this would be sculpted away. Any additional procedures can then be performed, if necessary – for example, we might correct a droopy eyelid with eyelid ptosis surgery. The wound is then closed with sutures.A lower eyelid blepharoplasty is performed slightly differently to the upper lid blepharoplasty described above. If your eyelid bags are due to bulging fat and excess skin causing wrinkles, the incision can be made in the skin just below the eyelash line so that the excess skin can be removed after we address the excess fat. If skin excess is not an issue for you, the incision can be made along the inside of the lower eyelid.
