Rating from 4 Reviews Wonderful environment!Rachel, UK, 28 Apr 17

I had cryolipolysis treatment and can already see some changes. It was pain free in a relaxed environment. Sofia also added the cryo chamber which was fun and Reiki which was fantastic - first time I had this treatment and still feeling great! Sofia has established a high standard in holistic treatments of non evasive cosmetic treatments and views the body as a temple in a wonderful environment. I am looking forward to feeling great not just in a bikini but enjoying calm in my mind and soul. I have my next treatment planned!

Lisa Sacks

0117 325 1662 Bristol Nuffield Hospital at the Chesterfield, 3 Clifton Hill, Bristol, BS8 1BN
Rating from 85 Reviews 29 and finally got the courage to have breast augmentation surgeryJennifer, UK, 20 Jul 15

When I was in my teens I had great boobs, full and a great size for my petite frame. As I entered my 20s I found that they changed size depending on the pill I took. Around 27 I stated doing a lot of weights at the gym and lost a lot of body fat. Of course, my already small boobs were the first thing to go. I could sculpt every part of my body through hard work in the gym, but not boobs. I felt like a boy when I looked in the mirror and it upset me every time I saw myself. Before my op I spoke to two friends that had had the same surgery. They had two very different experiences. When I look at it the reasons were so clear. The first, who said "this won't change your life" had the operation in large part due to other people's views of her. She didn't have a positive experience despite using a good surgeon. The second friend, who had a positive experience, said "its easy, sure its uncomfortable, but I've been through worse". This friend had never had boobs and had the op purely for her own reasons. So, I would say, if you are considering this for anyone other than yourself, just stop and think because your experience is unlikely to be as positive. If you want this surgery for the right reasons, you wont mind feeling like you have an elephant sat in your chest for a few days, feeling sore for a few weeks and then waiting for the months it takes to fully heal. It's not easy. I had complications due to my nerves stretching over the implant causing more pain than normal for months after the op, but it was worth every second and every penny. I picked a great surgeon that was there supporting me every step of the way, which made the world of difference. So if there are two things I would say from my experience its this: 1. If you decide to have surgery, make sure it is for no one other than you 2. Pick a surgeon and clinic that you trust and take your time choosing - if things go wrong/not to plan/you have complications, will they support you in the way you expect and need. If you decide to do this, I hope you enjoy the experience and results as much as I do. All the best. I chose Lisa and this clinic due to the reviews on here, I was so impressed by the quality of service pre and post op that her clients experienced. The service and clinic exceeded all my expectations, which were already high. Lisa is an incredible woman; kind but firm and honest when she needs to be, and of course, incredibly talented. She always had my best interests at heart and worked with me to achieve the result I wanted. Lisa spent a lot of time talking to me before my op, about things that seemed curiously irrelevant to me at the time, but of course it was all for a reason - she wanted to get to know me, my mind, learn about the people that supported me, to check this was the right decision for me now, and that I thoroughy understood the longer term considerations. A true professional. Lisa was the one that got the purple pen out the morning before my op, the one that was there when I came round, and the one that took my drains out the morning after and checked I had ordered the right breakfast with plenty of protein to help me heal, the one that contacted me to check in after I went home and the one to answer my silly questions at night when I worried about things. Lisa takes the service she provides very seriously, and what a wonderful job she does. Lisa operates out of the Nuffield hospital in Bristol. I booked a consultation as soon as I knew I wanted Lisa to be my surgeon, I wanted to get to know her better and she did not disappoint. The hospital itself is spotlessly clean and the staff are warm and attentive. I felt like I was in a hotel, not a hospital. The food was good and plentiful. Liana, Lisa's assistant is a complete star; professional and friendly and very efficient. She dealt with queries/prescription help/appointments and listened to me rant about how excited I was, put up with me crying weeks and months after my treatment when I got all emotional about how it was the best thing I have ever done. I am sure you could find a cheaper clinic, but my view is, when it's your body, why risk it? I can honestly say I enjoyed the whole procedure from start to finish. Thank you to Lisa, Liana and all the wonderful staff at Nuffield for making this so easy and supporting me through one of the biggest things I have ever done. You are all stars.

Rating from 12 Reviews The result makes the Face Peel very good valueKath, UK, 13 Oct 16

My skin was looking tired and I wanted more than a facial. I was a little nervous about Face Peels but the lovely Sue Mitchell explained the process and I am so, so pleased I said Yes! I have just finished my last peel, I chose a course of 4 and my skin is looking beautifully fresh. I have already had unsolicited compliments, such a boost. I would say keep a few days free for the peeling to finish, I still went out but the peeling is evident in the beginning. The result makes the Face Peel very good value. The Chiltern Medical Clinic - Goring on Thames

Rating from 3 Reviews My experience with The Chiltern Medical Clinic was really goodAlexandra, UK, 24 Nov 16

The service I received during my facial thread veins treatment was fantastic. I chose this clinic as it was close to where I live and the website looked very professional. It seemed like a very exclusive clinic where VIPs and celebrities might attend. This reassured me and made me feel like the clinic was legitimate. The clinic itself lived up to the impression I got from the website, it looked great. I liked how the entrance was slightly out of the way and not on a main street. The waiting room also had a really nice ambiance and put me at ease before I entered for my treatment. The treatment itslf was good value, I may have to go back for more treatment to get my desired results, but I was warned about this prior to the treatment taking place. I will definitely choose this clinic for the remainder of my treatment. The prices were the same as I was quoted over the phone. The lady that treatment me was really great, she had a very calming influence on me and explained everything to me. I was late to my appointment and it was no problem, they were very understanding and accommodated me. They sent me some literature to read through to understand the procedure I got more and the healing process and offered me a follow up appointment.

Eyelid surgery From £2300
At the Chiltern Medical Clinic, we have a dedicated eye surgeon, Dr Annette Bacon, whose clinical specialities are cosmetic eye surgery, ophthalmology, meibomian cysts, oculoplastic surgery and cataract surgery. Dr Bacon is particularly skilled in eyelid surgery, which is also known as Blepharoplasty. Eyelid surgery can help restore a more youthful appearance by tightening your droopy or hooded eyelids, restoring their smooth line, and removing or moving fatty pouches beneath the eyes. As every case is different, we would need to discuss your individual needs during an initial consultation so you can find out more about the procedure.
Blepharoplasty From £2300
Blepharoplasty literally means ‘refashioning of the eyelid’ and is an operation to improve the appearance of the skin around the eyes.We will usually perform an upper eyelid blepharoplasty as a day-case procedure. The surgeon will draw specific marks on your upper eyelid before the appropriate anaesthetic is administered. This procedure can be carried out under local anaesthetic, depending on which feels right for you.Once the anaesthetic takes effect, we will remove the excess skin using radiofrequency cutting. If you have bulging fat in your upper eyelid, this would be sculpted away. Any additional procedures can then be performed, if necessary – for example, we might correct a droopy eyelid with eyelid ptosis surgery. The wound is then closed with sutures.A lower eyelid blepharoplasty is performed slightly differently to the upper lid blepharoplasty described above. If your eyelid bags are due to bulging fat and excess skin causing wrinkles, the incision can be made in the skin just below the eyelash line so that the excess skin can be removed after we address the excess fat. If skin excess is not an issue for you, the incision can be made along the inside of the lower eyelid.

Brian Musgrove

Rating from 1 Review AmazingAlicia, Wrexham, 28 May 15

It's been almost twelve months now after surgery and I'm really happy with the results. I had a tracheal shave as my Adam's apple was pretty prominent and as a male to female transexual it was effecting my confidence. The operation its self was pretty straight forward and no complications, all done on the same day. The swelling after the operation looked pretty bad but in fairness with an ice pack it went down pretty quickly. Just looked a little unsightly for a while with the stitches but no problems otherwise. Although £2500 is a lot of money in this case it was well worth it and I'd definitely recommend Mr Musgrove to anyone considering this surgery for themselves. The clinic I went to was Spire chain in the UK for reconstructive surgery. The one I had the operation at was in Macclesfield and it mas amazing. The staff were extremely polite and courteous and the hospital was immaculate.

Eyelid surgery £3000  -  £4500
Eye Lift £3000  -  £4500
Eyelid surgery (technically called Blepharoplasty) is a procedure to remove fat – usually along with excess skin and muscle from the upper and lower eyelids. Eyelid surgery can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bags below your eyes – features that make you look older and more tired than you feel and may even interfere with your vision. However, it won’t remove crow’s feet or lift sagging eyebrows. While it can add an upper eyelid crease to Asian eyes, it will not erase evidence of your ethnic or racial heritage. Blepharoplasty can be done along with, or in conjunction with, other facial surgery procedures such as facelift or brow lift.

Rating from 5 Reviews results are going to be fantastic..Kenn, UK, 11 Nov 14

Having had a gastric band fitted 9 years ago (by a company that has to use "Z" listers to advertise their services,) had a terrible service they took my money and didn't give a dam.. Unfortunately the band had to be removed under an emergency operation... My weight started to balloon, hence the decision to have the full gastric bypass.. I started to look for a surgeon.. By the joy of the internet I booked a consultation and ended up back at the original company.. But thought hay ho they may have improved... What a disaster they are equally as bad... So in my search came across Tonic booked an appointment in Harley Street London just around the corner from the previous consultants.. And I have to say I thought what the hell I will go along with the gut feeling as I had had and thought it was going to be the same up their own backside and money grabbing ... What a total different experience. I met Chris Sutton, the surgeon, straight away. He went through everything explained all the good and the bad. He really had my interests at heart then it was off to see Kay. Well what an experience it was so relaxing so enjoyable.. To the fact that my partner came with me and he was dead against me having the operation to him saying that is the one... I am booked into have my gastric bypass on the 22nd November 2014, and with Kay she has made it an exciting journey nothing is to much trouble everything is on hand.. The dietician nurse and fitness guru all have contacted me what a service.. So far I am so happy and I know the results are going to be fantastic..

EYELIDCORRECTION (BLEPHAROPLASTY) The eyes are the mirror of your face. Excessskin and folds on the upper eyelids or baggy eyelids give the impression ofpermanent fatigue. Upper and/or lower eyelid surgery can return that opensparkling regard, that you once knew. This sort of procedure isactually in the “hit parade” of the 3 most frequently carried outplastic surgery operations. Whathappens?Upper eyelidsDuring the operation, the surgeon removes the excess skin which is draggingyour eyelids down. This is done through a fine incision in your natural crease, which leaves an almost invisible scar. Lower eyelidsBags under the eyes are often caused by pockets of fat and are usuallyaccompanied by an excess of skin. The operation involves removing the fat bagsand excess skin through an incision made just under the eyelashes or atthe inner side of the eyelid, which means that there is no visiblescar.  AnestheticMost of the time a local anesthetic  issufficient. Although, it is possible to sedate a nervous patient, and ifnecessary put them completely to sleep. RecoveryAfter surgery, you will need to rest forapproximately one hour before returning to the hotel. You will not be able todrive immediately following surgery. Some medication will be prescribed(Ibuprofen and paracetamol) which you will be able to take in case of pain. Theday following surgery, you can expect your eyes to be swollen and watery, inaddition your vision may be blurred and reduced. Bruising should subside aftera week or so (for upper eyelids), but can take slightly longer when both upperand lower eyelids have been operated on. It is advisable to wear sunglasses when you go outside, and indoors ice-packsand gel masks can help to sooth the eyes and reduce swelling (although notscientifically proven). Your scars will be slightly

Mastopex with implants I had breast uplift with implants at sthetix with Mr. Alvi and I can't fault my experience in any way. From initial consultation to op to aftercare it was all brilliant. And the results exceeded all my expectations. Mr Alvi is the nicest genuine person I've met and I had many consultations in Liverpool. Straight away I knew he was the man for the job. He's so honest and open and funny at the same time.

Feeling much happiersharon, UK, 03 Aug 12

I found Mr Alvi & his team at Stethix completely by accident while researching Allergan implants on line & I am so glad I did. After discovering I had a ruptured pip implant from surgery at another clinic & 2 upsetting consultations I contacted the clinic after being on their web page and reading reviews. From that first initial phone call with Michael I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders, Michael completely put my mind at rest & answered all my questions he was just so friendly & professional. I was so nervous at my consultation on 5th May but there was no need to be Michael & Jess looked after me so well. Mr Alvi what can I say what a lovely genuine human being he is, he listened intently to what I had to say, he told me everything I needed to know & answered all my questions, he was completely honest and I respected that at no point did I feel pressured into surgery. I left there feeling much happier than I had in months. Needless to say I booked my op for 4 weeks later & I woke up with fantastic new boobs the pain was minimal. It's the little things that mean so much & the email the day before my op to wish me luck and the phone call from Michael when I got home from hospital was just lovely. It's now 8 weeks later & I have been to see Mr Alvi for my pre op & everything is healing nicely the scars are minimal & I am just so happy. I know that everyone at the clinic is only a phone call away should I need anything & that I would recommend Mr Alvi & the whole team at Sthetix in a heartbeat you really couldn't be in safer hands.

I had a full MACS facelift , i always knew i would have a facelift when i reached my 50's, as my face age did not reflect my inner age, after many years of reviewing surgeons and having consultations with several, i knew Dr Vermeulen was the right surgeon for me very shortly after meeting him, Dr Vermeulen is very approachable and honest in his consultation. he and his team have certainly exceeded my expectations in what i was hoping to achieve, i feel like me again, a younger me I chose this clinic because it was just so professional and efficient, yet very reassuring at the same time, i felt at ease the moment i walked in to the clinic, and since my surgery my option has only increased. it is professional without being pretentious or overwhelming. the staff are attentive and supportive, but also kind and caring
