Specialist for Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery
After several study visits in the United States (New York, Houston) and residency training at the University Hospital 'Inselspital' Bern was Dr. Feinendegen several years as a senior physician and Medical Director working (Mount Vernon Hospital London, Bellevue Hospital Zurich, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany). In 2001 he opened his own institute in Zurich with surgical operation. Dr. Feinendegen represents his specialist regularly at national and international conferences with presentations and as an instructor at training courses. His contributions to surgical techniques have been published in international journals (see publications). milestones are the development of innovative techniques for reconstruction of different soft tissue defects of the face and body (the technique for closure of large defects in the lower spine won the 1st prize for the best European work in Plastic Surgery 2005 , awarded by EURAPS, the European Association of Plastic Surgeons and 2010 of the Swiss Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery), an otoplasty technique, and a special scar-reduction technique for breast lift and breast reduction.
