Gitte Steffensen BSc, DC, MRCC

Gitte graduated as a chiropractor with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996 from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. She is from Aalborg in Denmark where she grew up. On completing her education she came to England to study chiropractic. On graduation, she worked in Huntly, Aberdeenshire for one year. She then worked in Kirkaldy, Fife for 2 years. Gitte moved south to then work in Sheffield, for 12 years.

Gitte is registered as a chiropractor with both BUPA and AXA PPP Healthcare. She is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and a member of the Royal College of Chiropractors.

Derek Allen BSc, DC, MRCC

Derek graduated as a chiropractor with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. He is from Toronto in Canada. He came to England when he was 10 years old. When he completed his education he stayed in England to study chiropractic. On graduation, he first worked in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire for a year, before then working in a GP practice in Poole, Dorset for two years. He then spent three years in Scotland working in Stirling and Dunfermline. He then moved south and worked in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire for 12 years. He also works part-time as a clinical tutor on the Masters degree course at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic.

He has a particular interest in working with professional and amateur sportsmen and women. He has treated professional footballers, a badminton player at commonwealth level, tour golfer and numerous competitive amateur athletes. He is hoping to complete the International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma in the future.

Derek is registered as a chiropractor with both BUPA and AXA PPP Healthcare. He is a member of the British Chiropractic Association, the Royal College of Chiropractors, the British Chiropractic Sports Council and of the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic.
