  • Saved me again! Words are not enough to express my gratitude for relieving my pain and for seeing me at short notice late on a Friday afternoon. It was worth the long drive down from the north of England and I was able to enjoy the rest of my visit home to the UK and my flight back to Bahrain.Antonia , Bahrain , 16 Oct 10

30 Whitstable Road, Blean, Canterbury Review by Martin - Were you pleased with the treatment? After 45 years of extreme and team sports I've had many an ambulance trip to the local med-center or hospital and surgery on many damaged parts of my body. I've had my fair share of fun and adrenaline but as my 60th birthday drew near the headaches, migraines and backache were making life very tough and my triathlon training (yes I still regularly race) a chore and very hard. After a very thorough consultation I am now a couple of months into a regular course of treatments with Christian Farthing and his great team. I have no more headaches, no more backaches and no longer need to take the daily 3 x 50mg Diclofennac prescribed by my GP or Migrainleave I used to buy from the chemist. I am overjoyed with the results and that the pain has gone which and I now have the zest for life that I thought was only in my past. I'm now looking forward to the 70 mile cycle ride with my two sons this Saturday and the coming ski season.

15, Lindow Parade, Chapel Lane, Wilmslow Review by Stephen - Were you pleased with the treatment? I have been attending the clinic (see Gowan Robinson) for almost 19 years now. I hurt my back when working in the construction industry but just did my best to live with it. When our oldest daughter was 9 months old, I bent over to pick her up and suddenly was in agonising pain. A year later, I left a hospital appointment in tears, having been told they could do surgery, but there was a 50% chance it would make it much worse. I chose the clinic out of the yellow pages, because the practitioners were qualified to work within the NHS. After 2 weeks of treatment (6 sessions) I walked out of the clinic UPRIGHT for the first time in over a year. Since then I visit the clinic regularly when I have the first signs of a problem. Some years I attend 4 or 5 times, others I will only go twice a year. The service is fantastic, the waiting periods are tiny, when ringing for an appointment I rarely have to wait 2 days to see Gowan. The other practitioners are also exceptional - I see them when he is on holiday. Yes - it costs - £37, but I have a small medical insurance that returns half the cost. But even at full price it would have been worth ten times that to be able to pursue my career now as a teacher, when I am on my feet for much of the day.
