Mr Andrew Kemp - at The Chiron Centre

Mr Andrew Kemp

Biography:
Full time therapists.KFRP Dip MESK "Kinesiology found me while I was working in financial services. It is a very logical therapy so fitted in well with my left-brained bias at the time. As I expanded into the therapy, I discovered a world of healthcare beyond the medical paradigm, a world of emotions, soul, and energy. Kinesiology is extremely powerful at addressing imbalances in our physical self, but it is its ability to tune into the unseen with authenticity and accuracy that intrigues me most. I have been privileged to perform well over 10,000 treatments and despite all I have learnt from this, I remain totally awestruck by the beauty of life and the unique journey we all travel within it. My other major project is the free healing programme Quantum K. This has passed 1 million hits and thanks to volunteers is now available in 9 different languages. It continues to inspire me to push the boundaries of what can be achieved in healing with passion and focused intent.

Ms Claire Kedward

Biography:
Full time therapists."I discovered Kinesiology through my own health problems as many practitioners do. Ironically I had booked in for a back massage and ended up having a Kinesiology session, which thankfully helped with more than just my neck and back pain! Once I realised the potential that Kinesiology had to offer, there was no doubt in my mind that this was the therapy for me. I am a very logical person, and although it deals with energetic imbalances (once a very alien concept to me!) I could understand the basis of how it was working and could not only see, but feel the benefits for myself almost immediately. Personally, I have used it to improve my squash performance, resolve injuries and cope with the stresses and strains of daily life as well as helping my clients. I have also attended courses in Counselling and Nutrition to support my work as a Kinesiologist and I am a member of the Kinesiology Federation."

Job Title:
  Aesthetic Medicine Physician
Biography:
I started having craniosacral therapy sessions to help treat migraines. I was amazed at how this light subtle touch could be so powerful and that it led me think about my physical and emotional health in a completely different way. I started to understand that my body was part of a process to be engaged with rather than just a symptom to be fixed. Craniosacral therapy is very gentle and non invasive so it is suitable for all ages from newborn to the elderly. Clients come for varying reasons. Some have specific physical health issues such as neck or shoulder pain, back problems, headaches etc, clients also come because they have more emotional or stress related issues. I am a member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association which upholds professional standards of practice. I have also done a further 3 year training with the Institute of Pre-and Perinatal Education, USA, taught by Karlton Terry who is a leading teacher in the field of pre-and perinatal education. This allows me to work with babies in a deeper way by paying attention to the body language of the baby, vocal expressions and crying. This can allow a deeper healing of any trauma the baby may have and can really help to know your baby better. The work is done in a gentle non-invasive way and is always permission based. I work with adults and babies and I have an enthusiasm and commitment to help support clients explore their health in a way which can be deeply effective and empowering. If you would like to know if craniosacral therapy is suitable for a specific condition please contact me.
Ms Karen Benwell - at The Chiron Centre

Ms Karen Benwell

Biography:
I was first introduced to Reiki about 10 years ago when I was working all hours in a cut throat Marketing Agency, desperately trying to somehow get out of the rat race and start a much wanted family. After I met my husband and the time was right, I set off on a very emotional and long journey to try to have a baby, which ultimately lead me to Reiki. Due to medical complications, I had decided I would try IVF for several years, as I had age on my side and if that didn't work, I would look at adoption. To cut a very long story short, I was 7 years in to having IVF treatments and about to start yet another attempt, when I overheard one of my colleagues discussing the benefits of Reiki for fertility. My ears pricked up and after looking further into Reiki, I decided to have a treatment with the Reiki Master my colleague recommended, I figured I had nothing to lose. Since then I have never looked back. Reiki blew me away from the first time I ever tried it, deep relaxation at a level I had never experienced before, an overwhelming desire to think positively and total clarity of thought. Needless to say that attempt at IVF worked and I am now the doting mum of 9 year old twins and I feel like the luckiest person alive. I went on to do my Reiki 1 when I was pregnant and did my Reiki 2 about 7 years ago and my Reiki Master about 3 years ago. I feel totally blessed that I found Reiki and have benefited hugely from the journey and I am now keen to help others.

Ms Anne Brunton

Biography:
Ph.D, B.Sc (Hons), IIR, MAR, BTAA, Diploma Reflexology. Diploma Bowen Therapy, Member of Association of Reflexologists. Member of Bowen Association, UK. "Like many others, I became a therapist after becoming disillusioned with corporate life and wishing to do more for others. There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you have helped improve someone’s life by alleviating their pain and anxiety. I initially trained as a reflexologist with the renowned International Institute of Reflexology (UK) and have since continued my post graduate reflexology training with the best in field including Dwight C. Byers, “the Godfather” of Western reflexology. I was appointed Regional Director of the International Institute of Reflexology (UK) in 2006 and have since been running Diploma and post graduate training courses in Scotland and South West England. I subsequently trained as a Bowen Therapist with the Bowen Association (UK), and I have, again, trained with the top instructors in this field. I have developed a particular interest in back and joint pain (particularly longstanding problems, which have not responded to other treatments), whiplash, complex & long-term health issues and migraines. As a practitioner, I have seen clients respond quickly to overcome long standing health or pain issues.
