Patients should wait one to two weeks after scar revision surgery or laser assisted scar removal procedures before travelling by air. They should get a certification of being fit to travel by air from their doctor before embarking on their journey.

Recovery after surgical scar revision procedures and laser assisted scar removal procedures generally take two to three weeks.

What after care is required after a Scar Removal procedure?

Patients should take all prescribed medications correctly and eat a balanced diet with plenty of raw vegetables and fruit. They should not smoke or drink alcohol for at least a month. They should avoid strenuous exercises and lifting heavy objects for at least a month. Patients who have undergone a laser scar removal procedure should apply all prescribed topical medications correctly.

Jane, the translator applied a reimbursement for my transportation fee and offered me free accommodation of one-night stay that makes me want medical tourism at once. I've been wanting to fix my saggy aging upper eyelids for years. The doctor and nurses at ME Cosmetic Clinic did a great job. They were professional, knowledgeable, and caring. The price was very competitive and clear, no hidden charges. I had a consultation with the nurse and doctor. They were very clear on the type of surgery I needed. After the consent was signed, I changed into a surgical gown, went into an operating room. The procedure took less than 45 minutes. No pain at all. Overall a great painless experience. I finally had my eyelids fixed after thinking about it for years and they look great already and it's only been 2 days.
