Acupuncture increases fertility rates by over 50%.  It works by adjusting the bodies hormones, this in turn will relax the body and only when the body is relaxed will it produce the right amount of sex hormones.  Each session is accumulative, so after every session your body is producing more hormones in the correct balance, thus more chance of conceiving each month.  A course of 12 sessions is recommended to prime the body for conception.

The findings also suggested that the quality of the menstrual cycle - a key component in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnosis -- appears to be crucial to the successful treatment of female infertility. Infertility is generally defined as an inability to conceive after a year or more of regular sexual activity without using contraceptives.
