I went to Poland (Katowice) to have hip surgery at the Sanvimed Clinic. Their policy is to keep you in the clinic for two weeks, with total care post-operatively. You are met at the airport by taxi and returned there by taxi. Nurses look after you and administer painkillers etc. Most of the staff speak English adequately and where not, a translator is available. Excellent. All this cost me £7,500.

My plastic surgeon was fantastic, he made me calm and not stressed. I am more than happy with my tummy result, it was my dream for many years. Finally it came true with this amazing team. From first contact to coming back to Scotland post orthodoxy was less than 3 weeks. This included the clinic arranging an up to date MRI at a nearby clinic 2 days before surgery. The wait time in Scotland was going to be around 3 years in total and I was only 6 months into that. I explored private treatment in Scotland but the wait there was 6 months also. This was when I explored other options and found Nord clinic. The massively reduced to price was an added bonus but not my reason for going. The professionalism and treatment from the entire team was fantastic and I could not offer any real suggestions for improvement. The physio has been amazing. I went from surgery to walking unaided in 2 days and on the static bike by day 3. In the UK I would have been sent home the same day with no follow up and in fact told I'd be on crutches or with a knee brace for several weeks. The logistics team organise all travel to and from the airport and accommodation daily. What a fantastic team this is. Can't thank them enough.
