What are Skin Tags and how are they removed?

Skin tags are unsightly but harmless skin growths. They grow on a stem and are usually found on the eyelids and face, neck, armpits or under breasts. They are also called polyps or soft fibroma. Surgical and nonsurgical procedures are used to remove skin tags by cutting, tying, burning, using electrosurgery, or freezing, using liquid nitrogen called cryosurgery.

Dr John and his nurse made me feel really relaxed prior and during my procedure. I had a wart removed from my forehead. I chose this clinic after checking reviews, also it was not over priced. I would highly recommend this clinic. All the staff were polite, the clinic was very clean and Dr John was brilliant, the procedure was very quick and painless. Would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful service. Had a skin tag which was on my right groin area and was becoming irritated and itchy. In and out within an hour, fully removed and healing well! A wonderful lady who talked me through every step and made me feel comfortable and informed. The actual procedure hurt a little, but no more than getting a tattoo, and I already know I'm going to be so much more comfortable with it gone!

Skeendeep has been nothing but professional throughout my treatment. I felt advised and informed about my treatment beforehand. Dr Afong is very polite and welcoming but still maintains her professionalism. I have just finished two treatments (skin tag and keloid scar) and I am so pleased with the results. Liz at Nu Asthetika was very welcoming, completely made me feel at home. She had a wonderful familiar nature which made me feel at ease and was happy to answer any questions I had about my treatment, she seemed very knowledgeable about aesthetics and very good at her job. Will definitely return and recommend it. The only reason I have given four stars is that she is based above a hair salon and I think if she had her own space, specifically for aesthetics, with a more clinical setting this would really set her apart.
