The whole experience from first contact through my temporary teeth has been awesome. Having an extensive medical history, I have experienced a lot of doctors, nurses etc. The respectful, friendly, truly compassionate staff including. Dr. Urzola, Cristina, Beatriz and staff were beyond what I could have ever expected. Researching such an extensive treatment was daunting at best. (a lot of information, prices procedures etc.)  Dr. Urzola personally reached out to me upon reviewing my x-rays and gave me a clear and concise treatment plan. Cristina (patient coordinator) went well beyond expectations to make me feel comfortable in all the details of accommodations, air travel, hotels etc. I am so appreciative of my all on 6 treatment.  It makes me emotional thinking of the truly caring, friendly team Dr. Urzola and staff has provided me with a long-term solution that is beyond dollars and the treatment offered by dentists in the US. Sidenote: Upon arriving for my first appointment a patient of Dr. Urzola approached me, showed me his teeth and bragged about what a positive experience he had. (I am one of those guys too) I Had a question after I got home and called their office, Dr. Urzola personally answered my call and had the answer immediately.

My trip to Costa Rica was exceptional, from the moment I landed, I felt welcomed. Having a representative greet me, walked me through immigration to getting me to Gabriel, I was thoroughly impressed. After getting me to my hotel, getting checked in and getting to the clinic all in the same day, I was excited to get my dental work done. After consultation with the doctor and his finding cavities that my previous dentist did not identify, he filled them with ease. Getting me prepared for the crowns was an easy and painless experience. I was thoroughly amazed; the crowns were ready to be installed in less than 48 hours. The very reasonable cost, speed and efficiency of doing my dental work here in Costa Rica has led me to recommend this service to several of my colleagues and family who have already booked their visit here to get their dental work done. I came to Costa Rica at the end of February 2023 to work with Dr. Gadea and I had a wonderful experience. I was referred to him by a number of his patients who had successful experiences with him, and they live in North Carolina. The doctor and I emailed back-and-forth since the fall. He never hesitated to get back to me as soon as possible when I had questions. As a woman on my own, traveling to Costa Rica for dental work, I felt safe and secure, I felt supported and listened to by Dr. Gadea and his lovely staff. Everyone was kind and considerate. Everyone speaks wonderful English as well. His office has state of the art equipment to help further diagnose. My treatment plan consisted of six veneers, a root canal and a crown, a deep cleaning over my six veneers as well as teeth whitening. Dr. Gadea is an artist. He did an amazing job on my six front teeth. He did a fabulous job on my teeth in general. Even the anesthesia the doctor used seemed cleaner than the products they use at my general dentist in North Carolina. I am so grateful for him and his wonderful staff. I am so relieved that I am in network with Dr. Gadea. I will be going back every year that I can because I trust him with his superior artistic skills and his exemplary technical skills.

I highly recommend Dr. Jehova Rafa without reservation! I have been at dentists around the world due to an accident I had when I was 11 years old. I had a lot of operations until I was 28 years old, but there were still some things to do on my lower jaw. I was looking for a relatively pain-free and affordable treatment. A dentist in Germany suggested implanting gum from my palate to give my lower jaw more stability. Others from the U.S suggested implants or bridges. All this means destroying additional teeth that are basically still healthy. Dr. Jehova Rafa on the other hand suggested veneers and he corrected four teeth within a week. I can't tell you enough how happy that makes me. Finally, a dentist who's not just seeing a "money-making-machine" in me, but has my best interests in mind! I love the result! It gives me so much confidence and I can finally smile like a beautiful butterfly! If you're looking for a trustworthy dentist, Dr. Jehova Rafa is the way to go!

I have had my All-On-4 for a YEAR as of today! I waited to do the review because something as major/expensive / life-changing as an ALL-ON-4 isn't something that can honestly be reviewed after just a few days. I was born with Enamel Hypoplasia; that is, my adult teeth didn't have any enamel. I was told when I was a teenager that I would be wearing dentures by the time I was 25. I decided to do my best to take care of what I had - I brushed after every meal, I flossed, etc. My teeth lasted until I was 56! I tried several times to get my teeth fixed in the US (starting in 1989) and the price / procedure kept changing including the first time I started in 1989 and I had already paid the dentist over $5k (in 1989 $). Any how, I visited a few more dentists up here in Texas throughout the years and never got a good feeling for they were going to do for me (price was all the way to $100k with a WHOLE year of warranty). I first reached out to Goodness Dental in 2016 and they were very informative and had me send down a panoramic x-ray of my teeth. I was told that if my gums were in good shape (they are), they recommended an ALL-ON-4 and it would take two trips to Costa Rica 6 months apart. Covid19 finally allowed me the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica in December of 2020 - they yanked all my TEETH!!! For the first couple of days, I was thinking WTF did I just do. They screwed by bottom temporaries in and gave me a set of removeable upper CLOWN teeth (I only wore them for the minimum recommended 1 hour a day as I couldn't talk/chew with them). My family and I travelled back to Costa Rica in June/July 2021 for the permanent teeth. They told me for most it would take a couple of months to get used to it - since I was used to having no teeth for the previous 6 months, it only took me a few days. The procedure has been life changing as I finally have teeth that are super sensitive to things like lemons and other acidic fruits, I can chew without shifting food around from side to side in my mouth, etc. The only thing I would ding Goodness Dental for it there has been no follow-up since I left to see how was I adjusting to my new teeth. Since I haven't had any issues, this hasn't been a big deal to me - but I know others who need the follow up.
