Dr. Rebecca Spelman B.Psych (Hons), PG Dip Couns Psych, DPsych Couns Psych, CPsychol BPS (Acc), HPC Reg, PG Dip (Cog Beh Thp), BABCP (Accred). Dr. Rebecca Spelman, is a Psychologist based in Central London, she received her Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the University of Teesside.Dr. Spelman also gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (IAPT) from Royal Holloway, University of London and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology and a BSc in Psychology. She works using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to treat a range of difficulties with a particular interest in anxiety related disorders (panic, phobias, OCD, PTSD, GAD, health anxiety and social anxiety), depression, addictions, eating disorders and behaviour change. She has experience working for the NHS, Non-profit organisations and in private practice. Dr. Spelman has a strong interest in research and measuring therapeutic outcomes. Dr. Spelman is dedicated to providing evidence-based psychological treatment therefore she always uses the most effective approaches to treatment based upon the best scientific evidence available. She is registered with the Health Professions Council and is accredited with the BABCP. She is available for face-to face, telephone and video call therapy.
