When something in your life is not how you'd like it to be, or when you're looking for help and support for something that you're going through; perhaps a life event, a particular concern or maybe problems with relationships, at home, in school or at work. Maybe you are experiencing feelings of anxiety, frustration, fear, sadness or other emotions.  Stress can be a part of this.  Counselling can help you to better understand what might be going on for you, and to find ways to effectively manage feelings, thoughts or worries.  My experience is that clients come to counselling because they want something in their life to be different. I appreciate that it's often not easy to come to counselling. I welcome clients with warmth and openness, and a non-judgemental listening ear. I am a Person-Centred Therapist and I use ACT, CBT and Choice Theory to help clients work through an issue or to help them shine a new light on an area of their life that is not currently how they would like it to be.Sometimes what we need is to be listened to and heard.  Coming to see a therapist is a brave step towards getting support.  Allowing yourself to talk about and express what you are experiencing might be what you need at this time.  We often don't 'press pause' in our lives, we often don't give ourselves the time or space to check in with ourselves. Throughout our sessions she was superb and she got me to feel safe and secureFredrik, Ireland, 01 11 16

I came to Laura because of anger issues and she helped me not only on how to manage my anger but also to find the cause of it. Throughout our sessions she was superb and she got me to feel safe and secure so I could open up and tell my story. Central and easy to get to. The rooms are brightly decorated and I felt at ease when I came in.

I was a bit sceptical at first but for the first time ever am craving free for nearly six monthGlenn, Ireland, 03 04 20

For me, it has been a life-changer. After 23 years on and off the cigarettes I feel free for the first time. I was a bit sceptical at first but for the first time ever am craving free for nearly six month. The longest I'd been off previously was just over two years but the cravings got me back on ever time. Thanks to the class I am seeing the benefits now with the lungs starting to really clear up.
