Mr Mark Matthew Palmer

Job Title:
  Practice Therapist
Biography:

Mark Matthew Palme

B.A., H.Dip, M.A., UKCP (trainee)

Mark Palmer is a trainee Jungian Analyst (Analytical Psychologist) and psychotherapist. He is in the final stage of his training with The Guild of Analytical Psychologists (GAP), London, having completed his psychiatric placement in St. John of God Hospital, Dublin. With a background in music, visual art and performance, Mark’s approach is both integrative and analytic, seeking to achieve a balance between mind, body and emotion. He has particular experience working with anxiety, depression, gender and sexual identity, low self-esteem, trauma and dissociation.

Mark believes the ultimate act of creativity can occur when we journey and engage with the unconscious – with our dreams and emotions, with our desires and our distress – to discover our hidden potential and become the person we are meant to be.

Mark essentially aims to facilitate this change and to alleviate suffering through the conscious engagement with psychological difficulties and the unconscious in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and supportive space.
