About Sarah Jane Crosby
Sarah’s therapeutic approach draws on aspects from person-centred and psychodynamic theory, as well as the creative, the existential and the cultural. With curiosity and compassion, Sarah provides safety and support in unpacking the difficulties we face in life.
As the mind behind @themindgeek, Sarah is passionate about and trusts in the power of creating psychoeducation that’s both accessible and inclusive. She believes in the integrity of the work of psychotherapy and aims to assist in normalizing and facilitate conversations surrounding mental health.
She offers psychotherapy for a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, body image issues, grief as well as matters met by those in the LGBTQIA+ community. Sarah also has clinical and academic insight into the areas of body acceptance, diet culture, weight stigma, disordered eating and eating disorders.
