Achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling, Postgradute Diploma Psychology (PSI) and a Bachelor degree in Applied Social Science at (NUI) National University of Ireland. Further training in the area of (T.A) Transactional Analysis, Mediation, Practice & process of Supervision (IICC), Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (HSE), Stress Management and Skilled-based training on Risk Management.
Extensive experience in Counselling/ Psychotherapy and Social Services in Ireland, UK, Australia & Canada.
Management and supervisory positions, working with children and adolescents in Residential Care, Homeless Services, Prison system & Youth & Community. Experience of working with those struggling in crisis with their relationships, Teen Counselling, Addiction, Suicide, Depression and Dual Diagnosis / Mental Health concerns.
