The decision to attend for therapy may be due to experiencing some sort of distress or having a general dissatisfaction with life. This could be caused by an event, a situation at work, a relationship breakdown or changes in family life. Sometimes it can feel like nothing in life has changed and yet a general dissatisfaction remains. Therapy can often relieve this distress. It may bring greater clarity about what needs to change, it can lead to a more positive direction in life, or can help you cope with a difficult situation in a better way.
