Loukia Dimitriou

Loukia Dimitriou is a Psychologist and a Systemic Family Psychotherapist in the private domain in Larnaca the past 17 years. 

She works with teenagers, adults, couples and families, who experience a wide range of difficulties and circumstances, as well as relationship problems. These include, family communication problems, child and adolescent behaviour difficulties, mental health problems, couple relationship difficulties, traumatic experiences, loss and bereavement, eating disorders and more.

She has studied Psychology (BSc) at Spalding University, USA, and completed her postgraduate studies in Family Therapy (PGDip & MSc), and Psychopathology (MSc) at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College University in the UK.

In the USA she worked at a child and adolescent mental health hospital, and as a crisis counsellor for people with various mental health difficulties. In the UK she worked in diverse mental health centers for children and adolescent, in couple and family therapy services, and in two specialized eating disorder units in London.
