Biography:

Xinyi graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and completed a Masters degree in Psychoanalytic Development Psychology at University College London. 

Prior to joining CEL, Xinyi was a Senior Psychologist with the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), and is experienced in conducting psychological assessments and interventions for both the clinical and forensic population in areas such as attachment disorders, emotional functioning, trauma, self-injurious and suicidal behaviours on an individual basis or in a group setting.

Trained and experienced in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Schema-Focused Therapy, Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), Relapse Prevention Model, Good Lives Model, and Risk-Need-Responsitivity Model, Xinyi adopts a client-centred approach and believes in treating the individual in a holistic manner whilst addressing the underlying cause of their challenges.

Biography:

Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Psychology from the National University of Singapore, and graduated from the University of Adelaide, Australia with a Master degree in Clinical Psychology.

Prior to joining CEL, she was a Psychologist with Singapore Prisons Services (SPS) and administered psychological assessments and facilitated interventions to the forensic population. During her time with Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, she managed the staff counselling program and provided support to hospital staff in dealing with either work or personal related concerns.

Jocelyn has worked with children, adolescents, and adults for depressive and anxiety symptoms, traumatic experiences, suicidal ideation, relationship difficulties, cultural adaptation, anger management, autism spectrum disorder and behavioural issues. Trained in various treatment modalities - including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Schema Therapy - she believes in tailoring psychological interventions according to the needs of each individual.
