Dr. Ivan Murray is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist and ADHD specialist with a distinguished career spanning leading clinical and academic institutions in Ireland, Canada, and beyond.

Dr. Murray completed his medical degrees and psychiatry training in Ireland before going on to serve as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Galway University Hospital. He subsequently secured a senior position at Alberta Hospital, Edmonton — one of Canada's foremost psychiatric institutions — where he worked from 2015 to 2020. Alongside his clinical role there, he held a concurrent academic appointment at the University of Alberta. Upon returning to Ireland, Dr. Murray worked at St John of God Hospital while simultaneously laying the foundations for his own private practice.

With comprehensive expertise in neurodevelopmental disorders, Dr. Murray is a recognised ADHD specialist and holds accreditation from the United Kingdom Adult ADHD Network (UKAAN). He has completed advanced specialised training in neuromodulation at Harvard and Duke Universities, and has trained in emerging therapies including ketamine-assisted treatment at institutions in Alberta, Canada.

Dr. Murray is the Medical Director and co-founder of Neuromed Clinic Ireland and Neuromed Clinic Canada. Dr. Jennifer KeaneConsultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Dr. Jennifer Keane is a highly qualified Consultant Psychiatrist with higher specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. A graduate of the University of Galway (2013), she holds membership with both the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland and The Royal College of Psychiatrists (2016).

With over a decade of experience across diverse psychiatric settings — including private adult inpatient care, emergency department psychiatry, and Mountjoy Prison in-reach services — Dr. Keane has built a broad clinical foundation. Since 2018, she has specialised in child and adolescent psychiatry, working across both inpatient and outpatient CAMHS.

Dr. Keane has particular expertise in ADHD, having worked with ADMiRE, Ireland's first ADHD-specific CAMHS service, and has conducted research at Trinity College Dublin into ADHD service development and autism presentations. Her work spans complex case management in collaboration with paediatrics, primary care, and disability services, integrating modalities such as CBT alongside trauma-informed care and clinical formulation.

Dr. Emma BeattyConsultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Dr. Emma Beatty is a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a deep passion for supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people.

She graduated with honours from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2006, beginning her career in medical paediatrics before naturally evolving toward the emotional and psychological needs of children. She completed psychiatric training in the West of Ireland, gaining experience across a wide variety of mental health difficulties in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and has most recently served as a CAMHS Consultant supporting young people with a wide range of mental health challenges.

Dr. Beatty is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (Paediatrics), the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK), and the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland. This dual background informs her holistic and developmental approach to mental healthcare. She has a strong background in service development, having led award-winning initiatives aimed at improving care for young people and their families.

She has a particular interest in neurodiversity, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, with extensive experience in the assessment and support of neurodivergent children and adolescents. Dr. Beatty works closely with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure children receive the support they need to reach their potential, grounded in thoughtful, practical, and evidence-based care.

Dr. Anca CooperConsultant General Adult Psychiatrist

Dr. Anca Cooper is a highly experienced Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist with over a decade of international expertise across European healthcare systems. She completed her psychiatry training in Bucharest, Romania, before advancing her specialisation in the United Kingdom.

During her time in the UK, Dr. Cooper developed extensive expertise in both acute and long-term mental healthcare, holding various NHS roles across community and inpatient settings. Most recently, as a Consultant in Ireland, she worked with HSE community mental health teams, gaining valuable insights into Ireland's healthcare system while contributing to patient-centred care.

Specialising in Adult ADHD, Dr. Cooper holds full accreditation from the UK Adult ADHD Network (UKAAN). She has developed a comprehensive treatment approach integrating evidence-based pharmacological interventions with tailored psychological therapies, with particular expertise in managing complex ADHD presentations alongside co-existing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and personality disorders.

Dr. Michal VrabecConsultant General Adult Psychiatrist

Dr. Michal Vrabec brings over 15 years of psychiatry experience, having completed his medical training in Slovakia before developing specialty expertise across a diverse range of mental health settings. His practice spans community and inpatient psychiatry, liaison psychiatry, eating disorder treatment, psychiatric intensive care, and services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. He has also held Senior Lecturer appointments at University College Cork and University College Dublin.

Dr. Vrabec has a particular interest in complex psychiatric cases featuring co-occurring mental disorders and neurodevelopmental conditions, and stays at the forefront of treatment innovation through his work implementing neuromodulation interventions such as TMS. With experience across leading hospitals in Cork, Dublin, and Galway, he brings a rich blend of international training, academic knowledge, and practical Irish psychiatry expertise. Dr. Tara Logan BuckleyChartered Senior Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Tara Logan Buckley is a Chartered Senior Clinical Psychologist working in private practice. She holds a B.A. Hons, H.Dip.Psych, and M.A. in Applied Psychology from University College Cork, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Trinity College Dublin. She is also completing a postgraduate course in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in Boulder, Colorado.

Tara has broad experience in mental health assessment, formulation, treatment, and behaviour change across children, adolescents, adults, and those with additional needs. She has worked extensively across private and public mental health, forensic, educational, and charitable settings, supporting clients with a wide range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, attachment disorder, OCD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and personality disorder.

Tara has a special interest in the assessment of neurodivergence among young people and adults. Having received a neurodiversity diagnosis later in her own life, she brings personal insight into its impact on wellbeing, education, and everyday navigation of the world. She is committed to an empowering, collaborative, and neurodiversity-affirmative approach, ensuring each individual feels valued, supported, and heard throughout their assessment journey.

Dr. Sayuru DissanayakeSpecialist Registrar in Psychiatry

Dr. Sayuru Dissanayake is a medical doctor specialising in psychiatry, having completed his basic specialist training through the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland and the UK Foundation Programme in Malta. With clinical experience across Ireland, Malta, and Latvia, he has practised across general adult, later life, child and adolescent, forensic, and substance misuse settings.

Dr. Dissanayake conducts comprehensive psychiatric assessments and provides evidence-based treatment for a broad range of mental health conditions, with particular interest in mood and anxiety disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions including ADHD and autism spectrum disorders, and the integration of physical and mental healthcare.
