About West Yorkshire Physiotherapy Centre

The aim of the team at this clinic located at Bradford in West Yorkshire is to help patients recover from their injuries or conditions in the shortest possible time. Chartered physiotherapists treat patients suffering from painful musculoskeletal and neurological conditions and sports injuries at this clinic. Conditions treated include backache, muscle and joint pain, sprains, sports injuries and arthritis related aches and pains. Services provided include manual physiotherapy, acupuncture, electrotherapy including ultrasound and TENS, treatments for sports injuries and post operative rehabilitation, exercise therapy, posture correction and advice, biomechanical assessments and custom fitted orthotic insoles.

One does not realize how worn out with pain you have been through until you feel so much better!

5 50 Physiotherapist Consultation

Managed to give myself deep 3rd degree burns to left lower arm........7 months of HELL and arm propped up in all directions to aleviate pain.
Dressings off ....little muscle left , any.movement was restricted due to pain. No follow up therapy from district nurses...so.visited this clinic.
Liz Benton took me on as a patient/client.AMAZING young lady gave me massage and a routine of exercise..( I felt sure she had a sadistic streak ] however through gritted teeth I did them.....just after a fortnight could put on a t shirt, wash my hair using both hands..
One does not realize how worn out with pain you have been through until you feel so much better!

Cannot praise the treatment enough...feeling human again!
I was lucky enough to arrive to bookan appointment when someone had cancelled last minute....seen straight away!
Friendly staff, clean environment,GREAT value for money! I had expected to pay more.
SO if you need help from physio,,,,,this is the place to be !

Janine set the practice up 15 years ago to enable to answer unique problem solving.  Janine qualified in 1986 from the Leeds School of Physiotherapy and worked in the NHS for The Bradford, Leeds and Rotherham NHS Trust.   Her last NHS job was Senior I in charge of an orthopaedic rehabilitation centre in Rotherham.   During her time in the NHS, Janine attended numerous post graduate courses and completed a two year level I and II maitland manipulation course in Sheffield. She also completed a l year sports physiotherapy diploma in London where she gained a merit and was chosen to present her research project to an orthopaedic congress.  Janine is a keen sports woman and represented Great Britain Athletics team in the 1500 mtrs as a junior, she then went on to represent GB in the world jet ski championships in Arizona, America in 1999. She is currently competing her horses in dressage competitions.
Janine set up a unique centre to provide a problem solving hands on service to address any physical dysfunctions. Janine started her sporting physiotherapy career in Rugby. Initially she was the Old Brodleions RUFC physio for 4 years and when they were in the super league.  In 2007 Janine did a season with the Bradford Bulls RLFC and continues to treat rugby players from that level.Janine also did work for the British gymnastic team, the British Swimming team and the British para olympic athletics team.
Today Janine is still actively included in treating athletes from many different sports.  She has a particular interest in biomechanics, complex lumbar pelvic problems and deep connective tissue massage.
