About Camberley Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic

Mr John Mitchell

Job Title:

Biography:
John graduated in 2001 from King’s College London and has worked in predominantly in musculoskeletal outpatients since then.  He obtained the Diploma of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine in 2006 and has recently gained a Diploma in Injection Therapy. 
John has attended courses in shoulders, trigger point therapy, electrotherapy and acupuncture.  He has a particular interest in myofascial release and has attended several courses in this area.  He also works as an extended scope practioner in the Surrey Heath Orthopaedic Treatment and Triage service and has close links with many orthopaedic consultants in the area.
Prior to qualifying as a physiotherapist, John gained a B.Sc in Medical Biochemistry and has studied psychology with the Open University.
John also works as a freelance lecturer running training programmes for physiotherapists interested in learning about blood test interpretation.

Mr Paul Seyfried

Biography:
Paul obtained his degree in physiotherapy from Sheffield in 2001.  Prior to this he also completed a B.Sc (hons) in Biology and Sports Science in London.
Currently, he works mostly at his private practice which requires a sound understanding of all aspects of musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a bias towards spinal pain and sports injuries.  He also works as an Extended Scope Practitioner in the award winning Surrey Heath Orthopaedic, Treatment and Triage Service.  This is an NHS clinic where he works with a Specialist GP and an Orthopaedic Surgeon.

Mr Liam Tanner

Biography:
Liam completed his physiotherapy training at the University of East London and has worked in a variety of private practices and hospital settings since his graduation in 2000.  Over the years Liam has treated a wide range of people from elite athletes to post-operative patients, allowing him to develop his assessment and treatment skills.
Prior to undertaking his physiotherapy course, Liam also gained a degree in Sports Science and undertook an M.Sc. in Exercise and Health Behaviour at City University, London.

Ms Carolyn Everett

Carolyn trained at King’s College Hospital in London and has over 25 years experience predominantly in musculoskeletal work with all ages.  Carolyn has post qualification training in Sports Medicine, Maitland mobilisations, Trigger Point Therapy, McKenzie exercise programmes and Swiss Gym Ball exercises.  Carolyn regularly attends courses to keep updated with current clinical evidence based practices.  She is currently on the European Coaching Certification Programme with ITS.

Rome graduated in South Africa with a degree in physiotherapy in 1996.  She has worked in the UK for many years as a senior physiotherapist in hospitals and the private sector.  She has undertaken additional post-graduate training in acupuncture and has a certificate in Manual Therapy.  She has a particular interest in spines.
