Mr Stuart Galise -  at PhysioImpulse - Bath

Mr Stuart Galise

Biography:
Stuart trained at King’s College London and graduated in 1999, he worked within the NHS for 5 years before moving in to private practice. Stuart has also worked with London Welsh RFC and with many elite and aspiring elite athletes and sportsmen and women over the last 16 years. He practices a very much 'hands on' approach to treatment and is keen to teach patients how to best assist in their own recovery to enable them to train at a high level of fitness, which he continues to do himself. He also undertakes our running analysis service at Phase One Health Club for those looking to maximise their potential and reduce the chances of injury. He is also currently Clinical Lead for a GP consortium in Bristol providing local Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Osteopathy services. Stuart is a lecturer on our Post Graduate Course programmes and works within all our Bath clinics at selected times and at Lodgeside Surgery in Bristol on a Friday morning.

Mr Matthew Shepherd

Biography:
Matt graduated from Huddersfield University in 2002 and worked for 2 years within local NHS Hospitals before specialising into sports and private practice. With extensive post graduate training in Manual therapy, acupuncture, taping and rehabilitation he has acquired the skills to manage even the most complex presentations with expertise. He currently divides his time between our busy Bath clinics and managing the occupational health needs of a major telecommunications company. More recently Matt has been consulting for Bath Cricket Club, providing video analysis and rehabilitation programmes for squad members. Alongside Stuart he is also a lecturer on our Post Graduate Course programmes.

Mr Matthew Attwood

Biography:
Matt trained as a physiotherapist at the University of the West of England and also holds an MSc in Exercise Physiology gained from Loughborough University. Matt worked within the NHS in Bristol, Swindon and Taunton and continues his NHS involvement at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. Matt has a vast sporting background, having coached gymnastics, trampoline and triathlon prior to coaching and playing rugby professionally. Following two years working with rugby teams in Italy, Matt now focuses on injury risk and prevention in sport, specialising in functional movement analysis and rehabilitation. Matt is also a qualified strength and conditioning specialist and now offers physiotherapy and specialist training and rehabilitation sessions to help you achieve your goals.
