Mr Nicholas Evans

Job Title:
  Physical Therapy, Physiotherapy
My name is Nicholas Evans and I have been a physiotherapist since completing a physiotherapy degree at the University of Sydney, Australia in 1994 and a master’s degree in physical therapy from Quinnipiac University (Connecticut, USA) in 2006. I have a particular interest in spinal, neck and shoulder pain and have worked as a specialist back pain physiotherapist for several years. As part of my master’s degree I did research into the benefits of Pilates and core spinal stabilization exercises and they continue to be a large part of my physiotherapy practice for spinal and shoulder problems. I enjoy treating complex and unusual pain problems and managing these problems long term. Watching dance and treating dancers is an area of interest for me. While studying in the United States I worked with dancers from Hartford Ballet, Connecticut using Pilates to improve performance and to treat injuries.
