Melanie graduated from Liverpool 1983. She worked as a senior NHS clinician before establishing Woolton Physiotherapy in 1991. She has continued to expand her expertise gaining membership of The Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, Acupuncture Association (AACP) and has a diploma in injection therapy. She passed M203 Ergonomic essentials including Manual therapy and DSE in 2010 (British Occupational Hygiene Society). Melanie uses her specialist skills across a wide range of conditions and has a wide and varied client base. Melanie also manages the Physiotherapy Services for local councils.

Her main concern is to maintain Woolton Physiotherapy as a clinic of excellence where patients receive the best possible treatment with care and respect.

Jo graduated in 1996 from Salford University. She is a senior paediatric physiotherapist at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital working in orthopaedic trauma, burns and plastics. She has worked part-time at Woolton Physiotherapy for the past fourteen years.

She has a special interest in acupuncture and has attended many advanced acupuncture courses covering a wide range of conditions. Jo has a special interest in womens health and is qualified to treat IVF related issues.

Stelian graduated from Al. I. Cuza, Romania, in 2012 with a BSc in Physiotherapy and has an MSc in Physiotherapy Sport’s Injuries. Stelian worked in a private hospital in Romania during his Master courses. He decided to come to UK to enhance his skills and gain further experience to make a positive difference. He has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with focus on Shoulder rehabilitation, lower back, and lower limbs.  In the past 2 years, Stelian has qualified in Acupuncture, Mulligan concept: lower quadrant and specialised shoulder rehabilitation. He has successfully applied this in practice with great results. By enhancing his skills through these courses, he can now treat a varied case load and has exceptional ability to both motivate and provide individual treatment plans to aid a smooth recovery process. Stelian has been able to share this knowledge with his colleagues during our regular CPD training.  In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, he is a former Rugby player and enjoy Skiing all over the world.
