About Woolton Physiotherapy Clinic

This Liverpool physiotherapy practice runs two physiotherapy clinics in Liverpool. Chartered physiotherapists treat and rehabilitate patients at the clinic. I made an appointment to have a back massage as I had been having back pain for a while and thought it might help. I was seen by Antonio who advised me about the best exercises to strengthen my back muscles. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and the massage really helped.

Highly recommend had a massage on my back for sciatica. It eased alot of pain 4 more sessions to go feel like a different person in myself very friendly and professional gave me advice too. Lovely welcoming staff on reception, thank you.

I attended this physiotherapy clinic after the birth of my child for a postnatal assessment.

It was a fantastic assessment. The women’s health physio was so knowledgeable and reassuring. I would highly recommend this clinic. The reception staff were efficient, so helpful and changed my original appointment to a more convenient time. I was able to park outside and I have now started their Pilates classes which are really good. So glad I found this place.

I had treatment and advice for rehabilitation after a total hip replacement. Very professional approach and enhanced the physiotherapy I am receiving in the NHS. Am going to keep attending the clinic.


Prompt response to enquiry. The lady who contacted me took a brief history of my context. What particularly impressed me was that she said if they couldn't offer anything extra to my phsio under the NHS then they would tell me.

Melanie graduated from Liverpool 1983. She worked as a senior NHS clinician before establishing Woolton Physiotherapy in 1991. She has continued to expand her expertise gaining membership of The Society of Orthopaedic Medicine, Acupuncture Association (AACP) and has a diploma in injection therapy. She passed M203 Ergonomic essentials including Manual therapy and DSE in 2010 (British Occupational Hygiene Society). Melanie uses her specialist skills across a wide range of conditions and has a wide and varied client base. Melanie also manages the Physiotherapy Services for local councils.

Her main concern is to maintain Woolton Physiotherapy as a clinic of excellence where patients receive the best possible treatment with care and respect.
