Ms Carole Waltens

Job Title:
  Physiotherapist
Biography:
She trained as a ballerina before switching to train as a Physiotherapist and she believes it’s the best thing she ever did in her life! She has a wealth of some 30+ years experience in physiotherapy working in clinics and also as an advisor to major companies all across the UK, such as Unilever, where she has helped employees with repetitive strain injuries due to computer-based work. She is on hand at Lloyd’s, not only to treat injuries but also to provide a workstation assessment service. If you are suffering from pain due to computer use, make an appointment for an assessment, and she will give you specific and immediate advice that will change the way you feel about your computer!

Mr Simon Chafer

Biography:
He started off his career working as a teacher and it was his interest in teaching biology and physiology that led him to become an Osteopath. He has over 10 years experience of treating patients, in Clinics throughout London, both with the NHS and privately. He has recently used this knowledge to research a Masters qualification in pain management and chronic pain, which is one of the areas he specialises in. He is also qualified to prescribe orthotics which can help if you are suffering from foot or leg pain, and is a practitioner of western medical acupuncture (dry needling). When he is not treating patients at Lloyd’s, he keeps up his teaching expertise by tutoring undergraduate osteopathic students at the London School of Osteopathy.
